This is the third time I've heard of cyclists causing accidents on Gosforth High Street this week. The council need to look into the road urgently.
We nearly had similar on Durham Road, heading into Newcastle on Wednesday. Some dangerous **** turned right out of Allerdene and headed towards the Angel on the wrong side of the dual carriageway. Thankfully the driver reacted in time to not have to brake too hard.

Today 19:54 - 27th Sep 2025
Affected routes:
35
Due to vandalism on the junction of Cranleigh Road and Canterbury Road in Hylton Castle, service 35 will be diverted for the remainder of service today.
Please catch your bus from Washington Road.
Allegedly, 6317 was involved in the accident at County Hall, yesterday. The guy who was rather excitedly telling everyone on the 64 about it, this morning, might have been making assumptions but bustimes has it caught up in the disruption at the right time and it's off the road today.
