I'd imagine the E200MMC's, MCV Evora's and the ADL E400FCEV's that are all in Merseytravel Metro livery will go to either Go North West or Stagecoach on 6th September ahead of Tranche 1 going live.
Still quite a lot of Buses from Arriva Merseyside that could be subjected to transfer within the group to other divisions such as here in the North East, Yorkshire, Kent & Surrey or Wales divisions. All have aging fleets which vehicles up to 17 years old now and Arriva since MG has came in with the last year have been working to reduce the overall fleet age with orders for New Buses coinciding with purchases of Second Hand ones also
I haven't counted as it's too much effort but the vast majority of the buses won't be going anywhere. It's only St Helen's and Birkenhead which are impacted and the vast majority of the B5LH's are at Birkenhead so they'll be gone.
I assume the DB300's are going because of the 15 year rule in Liverpool.
I wouldn't be too surprised if the Streetshite's end back up here though.

Streetlites from Birkenhead are off to Southport to replace E200MMCs that are off to Bootle.
The Mersey livered e200mmcs are off to Runcorn.

Aye that's fair, thought they might have moved them out since they're quite a minority fleet over there but makes sense to assume get rid of more of the Pulsars that are left.
7549, 7550, 7551, 7552, 7563, 7564 and 7565 departed for Selby yesterday (Sunday 2nd August). They are presently parked at Castleford depot awaiting onwards transfer.
Apparently the hope is that the electric at Blyth should be sorted on Friday and hopes are they should all be out in service after that.
(28 Jul 2026, 9:12 am)Kuyoyo wrote [ -> ]To confirm numbers, it seems the 19 new E400MMCs (7720 does indeed still seem to be destined for Blyth) will replaced 7541-52 plus at least 6 72 plates to Yorkshire - those 6 plus 8 of the 17 plates are destined for Selby depot to replace their Geminis on the 415 (Selby to York) which in turn cascade to Castleford to replace the older E400s there.
Can now confirm the total of E400MMCs departing Ashington is 18 - 7541-52 plus 7563-7568 (although 7547 and 7566 are both presently VOR awaiting new engines). So far, 7542/3 have entered service at Wakefield - now numbered 1903 and 1904 respectively. Selby have also now placed 7550 (1991) into service.
From this, their new numbers are as followed:
- 7541 - 1902
- 7542 - 1903
- 7543 - 1904
- 7544 - 1905
- 7545 - 1906
- 7546 - 1907
- 7547 - 1908
- 7548 - 1955 (Yorkshire's original 1955 - a similar aged vehicle - was withdrawn last year due to damage sustained in a Bridge Strike)
- 7549 - 1990
- 7550 - 1991
- 7551 - 1992
- 7552 - 1993
- 7563 - 1994
- 7564 - 1995
- 7565 - 1996
- 7566 - 1997
- 7567 - 1998
- 7568 - 1999
Is it all sorted now with the electrics at Blyth as it looks like there are 12 BYDs out and the Enviro 400EV ?
I am pretty sure the spare ticket machine is a BYD currently. Which one?
Edit, 11 BYDs today, not 12

Is any location, other than Darlington, due to receive full length Kites? I know Darlo are due 7 full sized and 14 short Kites. However, there are currently 10 full sized parked at Faverdale depot.

There’s only 7 full size at Darlington currently, short ones are currently hidden within the mix

Ment to be for the 63 64 65 the e200mmcs that's the plan I for them
Something that might need to be put inplace for newer viechles , while driving up Lobley Hill yesterday the sun shined right in my way , I couldn't see a single thing , the other cars stopped behind me , and I almost crashed into the curb , maybe putting darker sun blocking sheets on the windows for safety reasons may be necessary.
To be fair, the E200MMC's will be thrown on anything and everything. I don't think they really care about what routes get what nowadays and they just simply make sure each service is running regardless of the bus. Wouldn't surprise me, if they throw them on the X4, X12, X22 & 5 as they're brand new. The 63/64 & 65 will most likely still be mostly Pulsars and to be honest, all the Pulsars are capable of working for another 5 years. But Yeh, atm I think Arriva just need to focus on having every service running at the max efficiency.
Darlingtons first new E200 arrived on Friday (3522) this also has the new blue moquette seating

3519 not 3522 - delivered with the wrong fleetnumbers applied.
Evoras BU76XRC/D/E/G/K (4513/4/5/7/20) have been delivered to Harlow depot where they will be helping out temporarily whilst awaiting delivery of their own new Evoras. Believe they are expected around Nov/Dec time at which point these ones will move to Stockton.
Any news on Durham's BYDs? Haven't seen anything about them in a while.
Anyone know why the new 2026 vehicles operating on the X14, X18 and X20 mostly dont display the destination on the back screen, only the service number? I have seen 1 or 2 vehicles with the destination as well as the number but the majority don’t.

I did hear a lady on my 64 say she’d ridden into Durham on it, this morning.

Saw it the other day on X46s, not out today according to BT, but looking forward to catching it. Take it this is the final nail for the MAX E400s left at Durham?
Four of the Blyth electrics are out after bedtime tonight (still running after 9pm). Is this a change or how they're using them or somebody just gone rogue for a Sunday evening?
Temporarily on loan to Arriva Kent Thameside is 5 Volvo B8RLE MCV Evoras which are due for the North East, solely to cover Croydon Tramlink replacement service T2.
4517 (BU76XRE) and 4520 (BU76XRK) are two examples that I seen photos of on Facebook this evening.
