Can remember them being new and allocated to the Durham Road services.
Loved a Metrobus and Atlantean, but the alure of a brand new decker was definitely more appealing at the time.
Pretty sure they were the first purchase from new, post de-reg too.
Were these ones not acquired pre-loved for last minute tender awards?
I think you're recalling 3675-3679 - the G67_TCN Olympians, which I remember were very nice. Delivered to Sunderland Road and then shipped off to Winlaton soon after as part of the Metrobus/Olympian swap.

Seen on Facebook that 5264 (Scania Omnicity) has been preserved, by the same person as 11113 first York Citaro
NK12 HCE is back working for Go North West as 5052 if it hasnt already been noted
I passed a 16 branded decker on the A19 last night.
Too far away to get the ID, but it was being given a lift south and was on the slip road off on to the A174 at Thornaby/Ingleby Barwick.
Some former B7s which were based at Bluestar recently, Are all operating for Metrobus to help cover the loss of the Hydroliners there due to a fire.

Wear Bus Preservation have bought 4950 / NK51 OLR (Wright Solar Fusion) for Preservation
NK06 JXD 3963 has now been preserved by the Northern National Restoration Group
Good to see at least two of the B7s saved.
Harrogate Coach Travel (Connexions Buses) are in the process of receiving a number of former Ex Go North East / Go North West (Bee Network Mercedes-Benz Citaros.
First one has a been registered as K200 CXB (5332 / BJ10 VUS)

First glimpse of what is to come of 5201 - NK54 NUU's restoration is that has been repainted into the GNE RYB Swoops and will have Twenty One 24 Hour Service branding.

Does anyone know if any of the Y/51/52 reg ones are still knocking about or did they all go for scrap?

I thought one of the 51 reg bendys was in preservation, i want to say its 4950 that is/was, or are you on about the standard solars?

Aware of the bendy but was asking about other Solars from 494*. 495* and 496* batches. Would've liked to of seen one of Ex Washington ones from the 496*'s preserved but think after the Driver Trainer examples with withdrawn they went for scrap.
Think there might be a few that were converted to static cafe bars or accommodation somewhere.
