Often wondered where these ended up. 
Can remember them being new and allocated to the Durham Road services. 
Loved a Metrobus and Atlantean, but the alure of a brand new decker was definitely more appealing at the time.

Were these ones not acquired pre-loved for last minute tender awards?

I think you're recalling 3675-3679 - the G67_TCN Olympians, which I remember were very nice.  Delivered to Sunderland Road and then shipped off to Winlaton soon after as part of the Metrobus/Olympian swap.

Yes, thinking of the TCN Olympians. 

Saw the G reg plate and in my haste, got it wrong.
