Have ticket machine manufacturers not considered emergency through ticketing for multiple services (unless such thing can be done already) for single and return fares.

For example, when the bridge collapsed on the Blaydon Highway and passengers had to use other services to Newcastle from the Metrocentre and vice versa particularly on one day when most got terminated there. Could there not have been an option for passengers to buy single and return tickets on the TEN services on board the 6/45/46/47?

And to top it all off, the Toon will be kicking off at 19:45 this year. Wonder if a close enough Sunday service with additional journeys (that don't usually run on a Sunday evening) will be the pecking order this year?

Does anyone know when Hexham's New Bus Station is due to be completed and then opened for use?

I was in Hexham the other night and looks as though it is coming along quite well, however doesnt look too near to being ready. Still a lot of work to do on the Station building and roadway. The large metal fencing to the main road has been removed and replaced with wire fencing now, and you can see the bus stands taking shape to the main road side.

I'd say that all are being destined for Slatyford to speed up the withdrawal of the Mk2 MANs, Which is becoming more and more obvious that most are in pretty poor shape to be staying in front line service for a few more years.

Two MAN E300s have arrived already, And were noted by me yesterday with two other Kinetic's, One is 22512.

223** and 224**s are MK3s and still have a bit of kick left in them.

Does anybody have a list of what Scholars / Works services that GNE currently operate? This would be most useful. Thanks in advance
