A new thread on Bus Operators not in the UK.

Had a few spare few hours to spare today in the U.S. So what better than to try my Hotels local Route 37, Operated by County owned HART Transit using there fleet of one or two hundred buses with the majority built by U.S. Manufacturer Gillig. No sign of Streetlites round here.....

Journey 1 Brandon Mall - Netpark Transit Centre HART **04 Gillig BRT

A batch of around 12 buses I believe new to HART a few years ago, Driver was very helpful.
Powered by a 9.1L Cummins ISL engine and a Allison World Series? Gearbox, The bus handled the route with ease.

Journey 2 Netpark Transit Centre - Brandon Mall HART 24** Gillig CNG

The newest batch of Gilligs in the fleet, New in 2015 and powered by CNG and a Cummins ISL 8.9L and the Next Gen Allison that is setup similarly to the Indigo Optare Solos back in England.
Very early gear changes provided a even smoother ride than the older Gillig I had earlier but a few gear jerks here and there when the driver put his foot down though they are nowhere near as bad as Streetlites.
No rattles on either vehicles and have a great build quality. Though Americans need a bit catching up on design though.

No photos of them as there wasn't any pleasant locations to get them in.

I return home on Saturday.

Hope you enjoyed this short review Smile

Thought I start a thread off on this as I've had this happen a lot and ended up blocking people.

Basically it gets annoying when you get one person liking every single photo you uploaded. For example I uploaded some Kingsleys photos and one person has liked every single one of them.

So I've ended up blocking the following person on Flickr for favourite abuse. Everytime I end up blocking someone, they will be added to my first (this) post.

Now running in the Teesside area - bringing back a name from the past - is Gary Walton's new company, Delta Coaches! He's one of the former bosses from Compass Royston I understand.

Fleet is currently
M135UWY Volvo B10M Excalibur
S1MFC Setra S315-GT
MX10DFD Neoplan Tourliner

All operating in a smart silver based livery. Pictures on their Facebook page

What is the worst bus company you have ever dealt with whether it being a North East bus company or a company from a different region

In 30 days time; it has been three years since we took the plunge to delve into the world of paid website hosting, in order to allow for the growth and development of this website.

The cost was approximately £130 for three years of web hosting, and Liam paid for this out of his own pocket in whole.

I'm now older and have a job, so I'd be in a better position to assist Liam with the payment this time. However, I am writing this post to gauge interest in a voluntary donation. I appreciate we have a large number of younger members on the forum who would not be in a position to donate, but we also have a number of older members who would be.

Happy to discuss more via a private message, but I'm just putting the feelers out there to get a rough idea of if we'd get a decent contribution from the site's users. It'd be completely voluntary and there'd be no obligation to donate at all.

I am going to say that I place a bet for the 46 (NHS) 13 (NEXUS), 18A (NEXUS) X10(MAX), X11(MAX), X12 (MAX), X6, 553(NHS), 554(NEXUS), 555(Quorum) and 64(Frequenta) as most boring
The best are both 43s, 46 (Belmont), 44, X93, X14, X15, X18, X22, 57, 57A, 308 (aside from the B5s) and the 84A(NEXUS)
