I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but why is the road stripe in a different place yet again! It's too far forward this time!

I am quite a fan of the minimalist branding though.

Very nice modern simple font. Looks smart. 
Interesting to see the black window surround curve up at the back too.

Edit: I see what you mean about the strips, StreetDeckFan. They do seem quite far forward of the rear wheels.

Wondering if it will stay as the 1A/1B or become the 1 again to run every 20 minutes since there isn't any change to the route after Gateshead where they go different ways (at least I don't think there is)

It's been a long time since I've said this but.....Wow. Proper stunning and a lot better than I think everyone was expecting!

Whilst I admire the creativity in coming up with the cringe to put on the backs of the buses, I have a feeling that one will may not be well received by some people! 
I'm sure someone will be offended by it!

(31 Jul 2021, 10:31 am)Drifter60 Easington Lane always felt a bit super served with a bus every 10 minutes. I can’t help but feel they should have split one or two an hour at Houghton years back. Sending them to Dalton Park via Seaton, Seaham. 
But if they’re extending one to Peterlee, then the other should go to Seaham via Murton and Dalton Park. X1s currently can look a bit empty particular past Hetton.

One X1 an hour is being extended to Peterlee and one an hour to Dalton Park.

The graphic says the repaint are for First. But isn't that the GNE livery?

That's the first time I've seen the updated ANE livery.
It's also a while since ANE have operated a service to the Metrocentre.

Don't forget Arriva also operate one of the X66s as well!
