A StreetDeck is a rare sight on the X21 these days, it wouldn't bother me so much if every other bus was a spare, but there was an OmniCity, OmniDekka and a B7 all in a row. Not what I would expect for an X lines service!

There comes a point where expectations become unrealistic. It's not like gne planned for wrightbus to go under after they'd already started re-allocating and re-painting vehicles that they expected to replace with new.

A few green backed streetdecks can be seen in the photo. When this deal is complete we should see deliveries soon in my opinion.

Is that a dark brown dashboard or is it just my eyes?

Yes I think it does look brown, it’s not the dash though, that’s above it. Do wonder how much of the surround will be noticeable on the finished product.

Oh aye, so it is! I was looking at it on my phone so it all just sort of blurred together!

That might just be the raw plastic colour and it hasn't been painted yet. Wonder if it'll get painted the usual blue or grey to match the E200/E400s

The article suggests that it’s not back in production yet, but it won’t be long. Looks like there’s a few nearly complete so I would think it’ll only be a matter of weeks before we see the first arrivals.

"recruitment to commence within weeks" doesn't give much confidence that the virtually-complete vehicles in the factory are going to be released particularly soon .....

Depends really on what those 60 staff have been working on.

I heard that it was going to be a good month or so until the new buses were going to start arriving, so it seems to fit with the statement

I think what really stands out, is that Bamford already had dealings with Wrightbus prior to the problems this year.

    According to one source... https://www.irishnews.com/news/2019/10/1...--1736870/

    Quote:

He left JCB in January after 14 years to set up another company called Ryse, which provides hydrogen refuelling to buses, and had already had links with Wrightbus, with their joint venture securing a 10-year contract from Transport for London to convert 20 buses to run on hydrogen.
