Speaking of new plates, it's always confused me as to why X21 GNE was put on an Omnidekka rather than one of the Streetdecks

Because that Ominidekka was/is the spare bus for the X21

But surely it would be better suited on an X21 branded bus

Yeah N21GNE was obviously destined for 6333, but one of directors I believe disapproved of it being put on a 'new' vehicle so it was put on 5321 (perhaps for its novelty fleet number). Should've gone onto a Chester Ominidekka really.

It's due to be re-allocated to 6333 in the coming weeks.
FCU190 is likely to end up on a Versa shortly too. Will just leave that there! ;-)

Are you sending the EY_ series registrations back to East Yorkshire? could go on the “new” open tops at Scarborough

Whilst they mean nothing to Go North East, it equally means nothing to people who see or use the Toon Tour buses (but achieves the same purpose of hiding their age!)
East Yorkshire have plenty of surplus cherished plates if they wanted to allocate the "new" open-tops a plate to disguise their age. Whether they're doing so or not, I'm not sure.

Nah Streetdeck nicer looking I don't think ADL have made a nice looking bus yet! The E200 looks like its having a stroke, and the E400 looks like it's had an allergic reaction!
I'm actually on one of Arriva's E400s now and it's bad. It rattles more than a Streetlite and the ride is harsher than a Streetdeck, the ceiling upstairs is way too low and I think the AC has asthma. The only positive thing I can come up with is the engine is a hell of a lot quieter than the Streetdeck.
I'm sure the ones I tried down in Southampton weren't this bad. At least it only cost me £1

I think the E200 looks nice but ADL in general seem to be of lower quality that wright. But they do excel in their 3D graphics

It's strange because the old E400s that they run on the 6 seem a lot better, they're more comfortable and have less rattles. The MMC feels more like a Chinese knock off.
ADL clearly spent all the money that was allocated to quality on upgrading their sales department to RTX

Well in the mechanical department, the E400 (Euro 5 and above) has proved itself more than the StreetDeck.
Wrightbus' 7.7l offering on the StreetDeck will hopefully make it a more suitable vehicle for most routes. The current 4.5l examples are perfect on the 21 but not so great on the likes of the X21.
On another note, if the 7.7l engine sparked a massive improvement over the 4.5l engine, would WrightBus be able to offer these as after market upgrades?

I'm sure I read somewhere that part of the agreement of GNE buying more Streetdecks was that they were going to modify the ones they already have. Not sure if that was a rumor or if it was confirmed.

Rework of existing fleet confirmed. Thought it was. Has it been confirmed what's getting reworked? Other than general reliability and the engine screaming on the motorway, there's not really much wrong with them.
