Looking forward to seeing this one branded. Not two colours I thought they'd use, so I'm interested to see what they've got up their sleeves for it.

65?

Keep the old fashioned brown and cream colours for heritage railways or Beamish.
It’s like the complete opposite of the trendy modern image they’re portraying of buses on the Xlines adverts.

Definitely need to see the final branding for this.

I do have similar thoughts to other posters though, brown doesn't hit me as a 'modern' colour - I think it makes Lothian's fleet look older than it is, and I also don't particularly like the look of it on the interiors of the X-Lines Streetdecks for example.

Interior isn't brown...its maroon I believe, same as Lothian. But imo Lothian have one of the nicest liveries in the country

Which is a shade of brown...

Lothian have a nice livery, but it's old and hardly as enticing as something like X-Lines. Put it this way, you could paint something in a museum into Lothian colours and it wouldn't look out of place.

Well, ok smart arse, a smidge along the bottom where they didn’t want to paint it gold as the lower panels were more likely to be subject to chipping/damage or something like that.  Tongue

Yes the metallic gold paint will be more expensive to spray than normal cream. If memory serves correct, didnt the blue paint on the 50s L94 have silver/metallic sparkles running through it?
