The 21 should be fine though as its main corridor is Birtley and Low Fell which is Gateshead and the 25 and 28 will be staying corporate I imagine. The Connections 4 buses are pink at front and blue at the back instead so who knows.

I think I’ve said this before, but I don’t know why an off-the-cuff remark in a staff notice has been taken so literally?

Yeah, not very consistent at GNE! I forgot about the Connections 4 having blue at the back. I am disappointed the 25 is corporate, as it components the 21 route to some extent. Definitely expect it will stay corporate, along with the 28s which should (although could be put back into Beamish identity!)

Which depots are Coast and Country, Prince Bishops and Tyne Valley Ten operated by?

Coast and Country - Consett - 78/78A, Chester - service 8

Prince Bishop - Deptford

Tyne Valley Ten - Hexham and Riverside

Thanks for that. Interesting. As TVT is partly operated by Hexham, and runs on Sundays, could Hexham run the X84/X85 on Sundays? Maybe a different service on Sundays, Hexham - Metrocentre - Throckley - Denton Burn - Newcastle.
Could all this service suggestion chat be moved out of the Repaints thread?

Does anyone know what branding is going on 679 ?
(23 May 2021, 12:50 pm)Michael Wrote: Spotted this

679 has come back from repaint - Red back with grey or black (can't tell by the pic)

Local Sunderland brand - as its Red at the back?

What's more interesting with this repaint is that 679 was previously Indigo branded and had prior to repaint been allocated to Washington Depot, i'd imagine 680 will also be moving to Deptford from Washington so that 672-680 are all together.

Makes you wonder if some major services changes are planned for Sunderland in the coming months with services 33/33A/38/38A/38C & 938 all being branded again under something like "Little Black Cats" moving forward.

Guess not, hadn't realised that one had be done so I guess it will be 672-679 that will then be allocated.

And surely some what would that's just immature
I know it's all just speculation at the moment, but surely every minibus network doesn't need to have 'little' in the title?

I think the only one will be the Venture brand which won’t be “little”

Thar new livery on 679 looks awful, there was nothing wrong with black cats
Is there a new sunderland brand coming for 33/38/35 etc, does anyone know any other repaints/re-furbs planned

Not sure if there is a new brand, or just a refresh of the Black Cats brand for the 33/35/38.
Hope not keep it simple 2 2a 39 39a are the black cat routes
