Does anyone know how genuine this is?
It does involve a 2hr wait at 5.25 in the morning in Manchester though...

Have a check on www.realtimetrains.co.uk. See what's running on the line that early.

Unless it is a bus train - nowt will be running Wink

edit: tpx have a train showing at 3.35. Doesn't show on Crosscountry app though
As I've mentioned before a large number of services that don't serve Morpeth are appearing on the Morpeth page of Arriva's website.

Can someone please give me a quick summary of bus services that serve Morpeth.

I'm planning an outing that may possibly include Morpeth.

Summary via screenshots of departures from Morpeth Bus Station from Arriva app below.

I tend to find I can get more or less everything there within half an hour.

If you're a fan of coaches then between 1500-1530 is the time to be there, the place gets swamped with about 10 or 11 school coaches all picking up in the bus station in the space of 5-10 mins. Crazy to watch it all unfold
How would I get from Washington Galleries to Chester-le-Street.

Go North East operates two services between Washington Galleries and Chester-le-Street: services 8 and 50. Both operate at a 30-minute frequency.

With the 50 being Omnicities and the 8 normally being B10's. =)

Make your choice, personally i would go for the B10. =)

One there and one back?
The 8 goes a slower route to the 50 - but is more scenic.
Possible photo opportunities for the 8 and 2's around Fatfield and Rickleton/Picktree (8 and 82's) if that is what you are after

Is Washington before or after Fencehouses? (From Heworth)

I just want to see what the Connections4 Citaros look and feel like, before changing in Washington Galleries and then going across to Marcusland to get some photos and timetables etc.

Thanks for the advice Smile

The Galleries is well before Fencehouses from Heworth. Takes about 20mins to travel between the two.
Big fan of those Mercs. They've been on nearly a year and a half and don't seem to miss a beat, despite being pushed hard at times and are in good nick, despite being subjected to a number of secondary schools along the way.

And Fencehouses.

I never realised that Avenue Vivian was in Fencehouses. Before I looked at a map.

A Sunderland DaySaver is £3.50 which allows travel from the City Centre to the A19 Bridge.
What is the first stop on service 919 heading to South Shields as I am thinking of heading up that way for a shot as it is the last day of the service on Friday.

Is it where Dan got his photo of the service on it's first day.
