Noticed on Monday evening that 8305 was at Riverside so possibly withdrawn now.

Probably don't want anyone to see it at the Riverside Depot Open Day. So towed it away foe scrap
Well to be honest anyone blessed with vision going around handy drive could have seen it parked up in the depot, they didn't exactly hide it.

I wonder if they will clear out the other withdrawn buses that are there
Pretty sure all breakdowns on Sunday will be taken to other depots

What actually happened to that?
It was last in service on the 26th March, on the 61.

Sitting at Riverside. Missing back panels and looks in a bad state
I think 5293 was waiting for a replacement engine, but given its age and the pointlessness of the Sunderland District branding in the first place it's possible that they've shelved that plan and are withdrawing it instead. I think the ex-IOW (5481-7) Citaros had different engines to the refurbished Citaros, or else they could've used one of the engines out of them in the if any of them were salvageable.

5329 has the engine from one of the 5481 - 87 batch. 5327 has the gearbox from one of that batch.
