Sunderland & District Classic Vehicle Society event is on the 16th of April

A fares please weekend in which Beamish celebrates 50 years of Beamish Tramway. Bit of info below. Dates are 6th to 8th May

Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beamish Tramway.

Hop aboard a whole host of historic buses and take a trip through time. On Sunday, 7th May and Monday, 8th May, visitors can also enjoy a model Beamish Tramway exhibition!

A reliability run with info below is on the Sunday 18th June

Join us to see the start and finish of the 50th Beamish Reliability Run.

This 150-mile run will see a whole host of cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles registered before 1956 leave the museum first thing and drive through Durham and Yorkshire before returning to the museum at the end of the day.

The autumn transport Gala is 9th & 10th of September

An October steam it up event is on 7th & 8th October

Buses at Beamish has not been confirmed yet. Will more than likely be confirmed at the beginning of March like it was last year

You should add alongside their resident fleet, otherwise it sounds like an odd tramway event!

Maybe it would even rival the Festival of Transport's 1 bus in a field event. Big Grin

Beamish only wanted pre 1966 vehicles, that fits with the eras that they specialise in.
