They operate some factory related services contracted to Durham CC - from memory one is in Spennymoor and one from Stillington. I think they're just 16 seat minibuses though

That makes sense as the two routes they operate (945 & 952) both terminate at the Spennymoor Thorn Factory. Thanks for the info.

I saw the 952 in Aycliffe once years ago and it was just an LDV Convoy van so pretty much yeah, they're more of a taxi/private hire type company more than anything. Timetables are here: https://bustimes.org/operators/ferryhill-village-travel

There used to be a 213 service between some of the industrial estates in Peterlee to Fishburn which was another contracted workers service although that was seemingly binned off towards the end of last year.

Indeed I went to see it tonight to see what would turn up after being reminded via this thread. I got some of the school buses at the same time. As you can see it was pretty anonymous so if you didn't know what you were looking for you'd miss it!
