Is it here yet, has it had a mishap, or it is acting as a demonstrator for the next location due new deckers - a bit like when Merseyside 4713 spent some time at Ashington earlier this year ?

 Definitely in service today, and probably yesterday as well. Saw it at Haymarket on 1800 X22 service to Ashington tonight.
