Yeah the new M1 timetable is totally unrealistic too - different timings in different directions, and the journey times are wrong too. 10 minutes from Rothbury to Longframlington when it is 16 minutes in the car!

I'm going to try and make it to Rothbury for the last bus to Alnwick at 15.55.

RE: Spirit Buses
As today see's the last day of Spirit Buses, here's a shot I was able to capture yesterday after I had an appointment in Ashington; it's not the best shot what with the light conditions and the last second appearance of a Rothbury Motors Bova blocking my original view.

It was also nice to see a piece on today's BBC Look North looking at Spirit Buses. It's great to see the route has been tendered by Northumberland County Council but it's very disappointing that it wasn't awarded to Spirit Buses.

I wish everyone involved with Spirit Buses all the best for the future.

I thought the piece of Look North was a really nice touch.

I went up to Rothbury yesterday and got some photos and a short video of the last bus to Alnwick. It is such a shame..hope PCL are able to make a go of it. Btw, PCL have timetables up for the M1 and S1 at Morpeth bus station.
