Whey aye - having a few days of speculation before it comes out of the paintshop in its new colour is a bit more fun!

The timetable itself, for now, remains gold.
(17 Apr 2015, 6:48 am)leestransportphotos wrote As far as I'm aware of Dan, it has been like that for about 2 weeks with the blue logo button and the header photo on the actual page... It certainly was last week.My bad - it remained gold for me. Must be because I didn't clear my browser's cache.
It might just be me though

Ahead of new Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 vehicles arriving for service 47, which, as confirmed earlier, is to be branded "Red Kite", the "Toon Link" branded Volvo B7RLE/Wright Eclipse vehicles have started to arrive at Saltmeadows for repaint. 4978 (NK54 NUH) is the first vehicle of that batch to arrive, and was in the process of being sanded down prior to repaint today.
So, what colour do we think it (or they) will go?

(17 Apr 2015, 2:41 pm)leestransportphotos wrote This event is going to be pointless! It's indoors and there isn't going to be a bus there!I recall Go North East doing a similar style launch for the 4 back in 2013 at Washington Galleries, iirc you could play Connect4, you got a goody bag along with a Mini Connect4, they also did the Coffee Cycle promotion at Houghton, Concord and Heworth also in the lead up to the Vehicles entering service, It isnt pointless because a Bus isnt going to be there for you to Photograph, it all about publicity and promotion, promoting Service X66 and the links it provide between Gateshead and MetroCentre, whilst also promoting Go North Easts partnership with Intu MetroCentre Shopping Centre.

Edit: Just to confirm, 4855 is definitely joining the NNRG.
I for one, am thrilled that a Renown, of all examples a ''Lime'' that is a personal favourite of mine, has made it into preservation.
(17 Apr 2015, 3:45 pm)Robert wrote Bet you wished it was 4852 though? Just think, that will be stacked on top of other buses now.
