Been listening to The Smiths lately.

I never really listened to them before this year although I was vaguely aware of some of their stuff, most of which had been covered by other artists.

I quite like them. You can see how many bands from Manchester in the Brit-pop era were influenced by them.

Can't believe how long it is since I last posted in this thread and the last offering was Eiffiel 65 - Blue (Da Be Dee) Big Grin

Felt this was an appropriate choice following the news that the drummer of this band has passed away following a "very sudden and tragic accident"

Pulp's Common People is a tune although I prefer Disco 2000 myself.
