Tell him yourself?

At the end of the day, people post information on this forum to be read rather than ignored and then duplicated because somebody has asked the same question. Yes the discussion regarding these deckers was in the Latest thread for the previous month, you shouldnt have had to go back too far as the discussion only took place last week.

What time would that have been? One 36/38 board doesn't start until late morning (1101 from Hartlepool if I can recall correctly from my workings) so in theory could turn up anything especially with an E300 off the road as far as I'm aware (27166 has been absent since its little run in with a car the other week)

Happens quite often. Has something to do with not wanting to leave them sitting spare in the depot all day i think. A resident of Sunderland may know more.

Yes - the gas buses are very fuel efficient compared to the ADL Enviro200s, so any spare gas buses (after meeting PVR of services 3/13/16/20) are allocated to service 4.

Still a rare/odd working nevertheless. Happens just as often as a red Merc on the Diamond services...

Did i actually get something regarding Stagecoach right? I don't follow the fleet much so don't take much of the information posted on here in.

Suppose you have me on the bit in bold Tongue On the topic, why are the Diamond Citaros (and any other vehicles) gaining manual ramps as opposed to the electric ramps they already have installed?

My fault for getting us on to GNE, but best if we try not to get us any more off-topic...

If the automatic ramp hits something (whether this is the kerb itself or something on the pavement), they often have problems after that. Although less convenient for drivers, the manual ramps are a lot more reliable.

Of course; there is a period between the incident occurring and the ramp itself being fixed, so customers in wheelchairs would have to be turned away for the interim period (often after the driver tries his/her best to get it to work!) A disabled customer in the Stanley area started a petition on Facebook to have these ramps removed, which has really sped up the process of the manual ramps being fitted to vehicles based at Stanley. The process has been ongoing for quite some time now, but obviously when you're converting everything new from 2006 (or thereabouts) to 2013... It would often be a bus from one depot one week, another from another depot the next week, and so on, but for the past two months or so, it's been Diamond Merc after Diamond Merc.

22082 on service 4 - meaning that it's quite likely a non-DDA ALX300 was allocated to service 12 in its place.
