4650 isn't X66 branded is it?

No, 4650 has the generic Darlington MAX branding: https://flic.kr/p/ts1y3V

Branding has been altered slightly since this photo was taken following the recent X66/X67 changes.

4650 must have been released by the police now because low and behold it's found its way on to the X66/X67 in place of 1406

I saw a supervisor driving 4650 down Tubwell Row today, NIS, although it still had the "Police Aware" sticker across the door.

Possibly for reconstruction purposes?

Why did they need it in the first place.

It was my ride home this evening, however I would class that as a correct allocation?

Is it though? I always reported 5337/8 on Diamonds but eventually, after a while (and numerous people complaining), I realised that as the vehicles are to the same specification as the normal allocation, it isn't rare or odd at all. 7518 is a dedicated Sapphire spare vehicle in Sapphire livery, the X21/X22 are a Sapphire route, therefore, i don't see how it is a rare/odd working at all.

7515/7516 and 7518 are all-route spares which carry MAX or Sapphire branding to avoid brand dilution. These vehicles do not form part of the usual allocation (route branded vehicles) unless they are operating extra capacity.

It can't be classed as a correct allocation as 7501-9 and 7522-8 are the correct allocation.
