Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - January 2016

7477 - 49A
1415 - X12
1326 - 48
Sapphire Pulsar - 56

Can't be 7434 as that was a ALX400 that transferred to Yorkshire Tiger. Was it a Lowlander? Also 56/57/57A/86 all interwork with each other.

Yeah it was a Lowlander. I'm guessing it would have been 7454?

57 reg iirc.

Blyth haven't got much to operate the minibus services with. There's 3 minibuses out of use - 1758 and 1799 have transferred to Yorkshire Tiger and one is VOR.

Or...it may be something to do with the peak passenger loadings on the 2.

They shouldn't be minibus services anyway, a Gemini is a bit extreme like Wink

One of the Quorum Commanders has been on there the past three days, far more suitable.

Yup I gather it replaced 1404 prior to departure from depot this morning.
1415 is swanning around on 9/27/27A mind...

There's always the clause that you can use a non DDA bus for 20 days a year of course, but I'm guessing that it shouldn't be out and indeed I messaged some people as soon as I spotted it this morning.

Spoilsport!

Didn't make much difference as 4511 was on 81s Tuesday. And 4507 came out after being on the pits but don't know if went on service. Wasn't through M'bro.

1470 Spending a day sparkling. It's on 5/5A. Haven't seen 1512 today. 1555 is the missing Streetlite again

1512 is on the 5/5a today so there must be another Streetlite missing as well.

Here we go with the typical nonsense again.

Enlighten me on the location of 1764? VOR possibly?

It would of made sense to have 2 so if ones VOR they have a back up.

What difference does it make?

A minibus is a minibus.

Be lovely to see you in charge of bus companies.

It would have made Ashington short of minibuses if we followed your plan....

Ashington already have given Blyth 1790 on loan...
