Reported elsewhere that 6030 has moved to Stanley, releasing 3888 to Percy Main for the 434/448 (although it is reportedly in need of some TLC before it can enter service), allowing 3941 and 3859 to swap back over.

6071 isn't a proper spare though. It is branded for the TEN group of services so should only see use on the TEN services.

It doesn't have a fixed depot. Some TEN boards start at Hexham and finish at Riverside vice versa. If it is allocated to one of these, it will be available for use by Riverside the next day.

News page updated - I've been slacking...

But yes; 3888 will be trialled on the 434/448, so Percy Main have given Stanley 6030 in exchange (for the duration of the trial period).

It was on service 15A - the 11:45 and 12:30 departures.

6071 should not be allocated to services X9/X10 - the only time this should happen is if there are no single decks with tachographs available.

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - February 2016
When Winlaton and Sunlun Road merged, 6071 was initially used as a TTX backup due to it being more capable than 3941/63/64. However, when the FAB 56 PVR was reduced to 14, 6084 was transferred to make up the 14th vehicle on the TEN's PVR (making 3942 a spare vehicle again) but, painted in corporate livery in the event that another bus is required on the TTX for whatever reason (bar high winds).

Thought so but question is what's gonna happen to the Pronto vehicles currently one there I've heard plans they may be withdrawn or temp. Withdrawn while getting repainted eg red arrows first then the 6 that were on pronto plus 6038 or they could move to a different depot that needs them I think Riverside and Stanley to replace the Olympains due to them not being low floor then the entire fleet can finally be low floor for once

Apparently the Pronto B7's will help clear out the remaining Lolyne's and Olympian's.

Dan said that 6038 will remain at Crook as a spare.
I also thought the Pronto B7's could be withdrawn temporally to be repainted as it seems the best idea, as they won't be needed straight away.

Not sure what the Pronto B7's will replace.

Quick question does Hexham have 2 loan Solos now 9105 & 9106 or has 9105 replaced the white Solo, which prob means I have to drive up to Haltwhistle again to get a photo of it in service.

They have 9105 and 9106.

9105 has replaced 561 following accident damage and 9106 replaced 555 which was withdrawn due to its MOT running out.

At least you have 9106, I still need it plus 9105 now as well! Also at least you can drive, I will have to get the 85 there and back a 30 odd minute gap between buses! The things I go through for this hobby...

Not sure what the Pronto B7's will replace.

To be fair, although an extra decent spare would be beneficial to the Pronto, people have got to remember that the full route (Bishop Auckland to Newcastle) runs only up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime with no evening and Sunday journeys. If the need was to arise for a more suited spare, then perhaps an Omnidekka or such could be moved over at such time needed.

Was there a reason 3888 survived being sent to Oxford? Had it in my head all of them went when the Omnicities turned up on the 21

3885-3889 all remained in the fleet (and on the 21) until they were replaced, alongside the Vykings, by the ex-London Presidents.

So 9105 is going to remain on the x81/185 or allocated to any board

9106 spent most of its first week in service at Go North East on the 683 service, and has spent the majority of its time since on the X81/185/681 cycle.

Whilst there probably isn't a set allocation, I'd suggest that it's likely 9105 would appear on one of these services.

My memory is going fuzzy in old age. I remember the Ominicites arriving, lasting a month or so then the 'pink faced' Tridents being pulled off the 1 and back onto the 21/22. Though I ended up driving to work when the Omnicites were around as things were so bad

Then I thought it was a Trident/whatever was around (including the old OK Olympians and that Nottingham City Transport beast) until the Vykings arrived (which were equally hopeless) then the B7s turned up and now we're Hybrids

3885-3891 remained.

The move was last considered to be a bad idea which basically resulted in Go North East having to buy a large number of Double Deckers second hand to counter a shortage after they won a number of Contracts.

Well, yes.

I didn't include 3890 and 3891 because i dont think they'd have left the fleet anyway with been used on the DFDS service.
