Stanley Travel probably used the Presidents with JH using their ALX400s and Presidents?

1 Presdent each. I'll post more when I've got enough time (likely to be once I'm on my X10 home later on).
On another note - 7455 has moved to Jesmond rather than 7453. 7424 is also at Jesmond (although it hasn't been out in service today).

How long for?

For the duration of the Metro Replacements. Very unlikely it will be on anything but 900s (and don't forget - the allocation changes when there's a driver change, fresh driver means a fresh bus)

I'm actually finding myself agreeing with Cock Robin on this one. Seems a little odd! Is it to do with fulfilling contracts in Ashington with Euro 5 vehicles, rather than Euro 3 (blimey!), or something along those lines?

There might be a Diversion in place which a Solo is unsuitable for due to its longer wheel base and turning circle, A MPD has a very small turning circle due to being Door Forward.

Please explain how it is 'the worst thing ever'?

I'm sure passengers that boarded it today would have been far happier seeing that, than no bus at all.

Well we all are entitled to our own opinions.

I'm with you on omnicities. Never a dull ride (though you may lose your luggage and quite possibly your lunch on the way).

I went off Omnicity's for a while, probably because everytime I was getting the X66 I would land the rather awful sounding 4649 but as I've not been having that one recently and instead being getting different better examples I've started to like them more again, this week I've sampled 4646 and 4656 on the 7 between Aycliffe and Durham (and back) and have quite enjoyed having them on there, especially enjoyed my ride on 4656 as the driver absolutely thrashed it!

Our trip to Barney and back, last weekend, was lovely, even if i did have to hold on tight, sometimes. We were lucky to catch the 2 omnicity boards, mind, as the other was a solo!

The allocation suggests it's until two Pulsars can be freed up (for Durham?) at the beginning of April but I'm not sure why they'd need to swap Darts for Solos. As for the 43/44/45 having a load of single decks on, that'll likely be the case for the next 2 weeks whilst we use the deckers on the Metro runs.

Ashington running duplicate X21's (and I assume X21's), 7522 and 7528 just passed through Bedlington together.

Yeah, 7522 was full and standing by  Bedlington Red Lion, couldn't tell how full 7528 was.
