I thought it was allocated. Apologies STL!
RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2016
The ALX300s seem to be allocated to the 54 too now - think the 52 and 54 interwork.

The 54 interworks with the Pulsar board on the 55 iirc.

Unless things have changed since the 21st Feburary, the 54 still interworks with the 55 while the 52/53 interwork. Of course that could all change from Monday.

Thank you for that Kuyoyo. It'll be interesting to see if it changes.

The sapphires often seem to get all mixed up for their final runs on a Saturday. We were on 1599 on its normal route, this morning, though. Wondering how long it'll be before they get that light casing fixed. It's been smashed for a couple of weeks now.

Evening workings I think are a mix of 24 boards and 22 boards - 7538 is out on 24/22 this evening as well (was the 2100 arrival in Peterlee)

That'll be from Sunderland, then? I did hear something odd and grunty earlier, but big'un dismissed it and I reckoned it might have been 1601, which sometimes growls, uphill.

No, 2100 into Peterlee is a 24 from Durham. Parked up in the layover area prior to working a 22 to Sunderland at 2129.

I had 1471 out on 5/5a all night last night (my last Stockton shift for a while)... Made a nice change from a Streetlite at least

Blyth's not having a good day for its MAX allocations!

MAX X9 Pulsar on the X7/X8.
Quorum Commander also on the X7/X8.
1401 (Corporate Livery Commander) on the X7/X8.

7606 (X7/X8 Gemini) on the X9.
MAX X10/X11 Gemini on the 308.
7466 (Non-MAX ALX400) on the X10/X11.
Blyth's MAX spares are also in use, including 7411.

Meanwhile...

306 StreetLite on the 52.
306 StreetLite on the 43.
(I've seen more 306 StreetLites in Cramlington today than on the actual 306!)
7492 on the 306.
1580 (35 StreetLite) on the X22.
4523 (52/53 ALX300) on the 45.
A different 52/53 ALX300 on the 44.

And finally, not an odd working at all but thought I'd mention it, there was a Driver Training Plaxton Prima at Haymarket around 11:00am this morning. I assume it was Ashington's 9990.

That's not just the sapphire spare, it's the one from the same batch as the sapphire 6 pulsars.

I can see the sense of keeping a MAX bus local by putting it on the 2, what I don't see sense in is if all eight Frequenta 2 branded EcoCity's are on the road there is going to be one on the 12/12A which just looks silly, 4801 and 4802 were both on there on Saturday.

Dare I say it....

WRONG! 1792 has moved to Durham from Ashington for some unknown reason in exchange for a Solo.
