Just went past a TTX bus broken down on A19 southbound just passed entry slip road from ryhope, getting uplifted by tow truck

4946 is now at Saltmeadows for repaint.  This went there on Tuesday 22-03-16.

On the topic of SRs, not much hype about the ones at Hexham today. Unless they've been delayed and aren't out yet, of course.

All five entered service this morning.

This has allowed loanee Optare Solo SR 9104 to transfer to Riverside. I understand it will see allocation to the Byker ASDA contract from tomorrow, in place of MPD 563.

I saw one of the new 16-reg Hexham Solos about 09:30 in Acomb today running the 682 towards Hexham.

It looked very smart in the new Tynedale links livery.

Looking at the timetable (09:07) it was probably running late (or my time was way out).

The Red MPD and A Yellow & Blue MPD (didn't get fleet no) on service 686 today, didn't see Any new Solo SRs 

Maybe get to see one soon, I hoped to get a quick drive up to Hexham today whilst out & about with work but didn't get chance.

Does this mean 563 will be withdrawn?

Hopefully GNE will run the new Solo's on the 686 as it goes right past my house once they enter into service

GNE will probably allocate the Solos to longer distance boards ( 74,X81/185/etc ) and the MPDs to the closer services like the 683 etc.

Looks like a trip to Hexham or Newcastle then if this is the case
