South Tyne, Lambton Worm and Green Arrow: 9 Streetlites would come to Riverside for services 88/88A and 5 would come to Chester-le-Street for services 34/34A. Both batches include one red spare. This would allow for the following allocation plan:
8302-8305 would transfer to Riverside to be branded Green Arrow along with 8296-8301 with 8295 being a red spare.
8294 would replace 8258 at Deptford.
4938, 4940 and 4941 would be withdrawn.
5228 would replace 4933 at Riverside
5227 would replace 4934 at Chester-le-Street
5218 would replace 4936 at Deptford.
4967 would replace 4937 at Deptford.
4947 and 4948 would replace 8267 and 8268 at Deptford.

Blaydon Racers and LOOP: 5275-5283 would replace 5219-5226 on the LOOP, 5275 would be a red spare. This would allow for the following allocation plans:
5223-5226 would go to Deptford for new X19 service from Durham-Sunderland with 5223 as a spare. The service would only stop at West Rainton, East Rainton and in Houghton-le-Spring and would operate half-hourly.
5220-5222 would replace 8269, 8272 and 8273 at Deptford.
5219 and 5331 would be float vehicles wherever required.

Fast Cats, X66 and NEXUS 68: 10 Streetlites would come to Deptford for Fast Cats X35/X36. 626 as people are aware will be freed up due to the loss of the 68 contract. This will allow for the following allocation plans:
626 will replace 551 at Deptford.
5205-5209 will replace 5391-5394 on the X66 as they are unsuitable for the route. 5391-5393 would stay at Riverside to replace 4942-4944 and 5394 would replace 4945 at Deptford. 4973-4976 would replace 559, 560, 562 and 564 at Deptford with 4955 being a float vehicle.

TEN, Tynedale Express, Tynedale Links, Red Kite and Venture: 14 Streetdecks (8 Riverside, 6 Hexham) including one red spare would come for 10, 10A and 10B. This would allow for the following allocation changes:
6071-6078 would be branded Tynedale Express for services X84/X85 with 6071 being a red spare.
6079-6083 would be branded Red Kite allowing for the 47 to be extended to Consett to allow for the 45E and V9 services to be withdrawn.
641 would replace 565 at Deptford.
5229 would be branded Tynedale Links to allow for the 74 to be every 90 minutes.
5230-5233 would transfer to Stanley for extra capacity on the V7/V8, they would be renumbered 62 and 63
642-644 would transfer to Deptford to replace 571-573.

Northern: 11 streetdecks would come to Stanley for Northern 6/X70/X71. This would allow for the following allocation changes:
6122-6128 would replace Stanley's V-REG presidents.
6129-6133 would replace all but 6042 in Washington's president fleet.

InDiGo Washington: Services 85/86 would be branded InDiGo. 6 solos including one spare would come. 570 would be withdrawn while 603 would replace 574 at Deptford with 604-606 being float vehicles at Washington allowing for 6042's withdrawal.
Just to add any surplus single deckers would transfer to Percy Main for use on revised 1A

Only had the Red Arrows earmarked due to the spare vehicle shortages at Riverside and CLS as well as to upgrade the Castles Express (Pronto back then). If the 7 or 8/1 rule was followed for the TEN and Angel order, then I wouldn't have given a thought about them.

My money is on the 11 being axed and merged into the TEN brand with a 7-8 minute service (15 evenings and Sundays) between Crawcrook and Newcastle. All Hexham journeys double deck and operated by Hexham, most Prudhoe journeys double deck and most Rockwood Hill, Blackhall Mill journeys using Streetlites.

- 6 + 1 spare StreetDecks for Hexham
- 5 SteeetDecks for Riverside + 1 tachographed
spare
- 14x B9s from Riverside to Stanley
- 8 + 1 spare Streetlites from Stanley to Riverside

See my order sheet plus sample running times that I posted on the main forum for further info. Also includes extra Streetlite for CLS as well as Deptford as well as other spare vehicle arrangements.

82 - Birtley - Ayton - Lambton - Washington Galleries - Biddick - Barmston - Concord / 85 - Concord - B&Q - Blackfell - Oxclose - Washington Galleries - Biddick - Brady Square

82A - Rickleton - Harraton - Ayton - Lambton - Washington Galleries - Biddick - Barmston - Concord / 86 - Concord - Blackfell - Oxclose - Washington Galleries - Glebe - Washington Village - Barmston Court
(82B would interwork with the 86 on a Sunday)

Basically the idea is a simply one, having the 82/82A/82B interworking with the 85/86 to have the vast majority of Villages in Washington linked together, furthermore the 82/82A/82B would no longer serve Donwell/Usworth/Wardley/Leam Lane Estate and Heworth, frequencies of the above services would remain unchanged.

Passengers in the above areas can use other high frequency services to connect to the 82/82/82B such as:

Service 56 from Donwell to Concord
Services Q1/Q2/57/58 from Leam Lane Estate to Heworth, then the 4 to Concord/Washington Galleries
Services Q1/Q2 from Leam Lane Estate to Wrekenton, the the 56 to Concord or X1 to Washington Galleries

70 Siksworth - Doxford international - A184 - heworth - bill quay.
This route can replace service 33 section silksworth to doxford international then give commuters a link to heworth to connect with the metro or bus, also replaces the 68 between pelaw and heworth.
During peak times extra service between heworth and Doxford Park can use a washington red arrows then running light to houghton. During the day a dart or solo can run the route.

The whole point of the X7 is to provide a fast alternative to the train between Sunderland and 'Boro. Peterlee just happens to be halfway-ish.

How frequent would you make the 65? It would have the ANE 64 as competition for much of the route so would need to be frequent enough to compete in Durham, whilst not losing money on the rest of the route.

RE: Go North East: Service Suggestions
Extending the X30/X31 to Lanchester again would be nice. The 30 is normally quite well packed on its peak and is hardly ever in connection with the X30/X31. Seems more logical to run every other X30/X31 Bus past Quaking houses, rather than trying to dodge all the parked cars with variable amounts of people on the minibus. Sometimes it may as well not run, but can have as many people as the V8 does on its peak. Bringing me on to my next point, I feel something larger than a solo should be sent out. Nobody ever seems to take the V7 from the metrocentre either, could make that route shorter, starting where it used to at Whickham.

I feel the X71 should also run later on weekday evenings as anyone between Burnopfield and Medomsley has no way of getting back.

The X78 is also a journey that should be more widely publically available since it offers a quick way from Stanley -> Consett.

X32 frequency should be made more consistent/frequent - it's the only direct route from Newcastle to the Pelton area and runs twice each way on weekdays.

A route from Eldon Square to Four Lanes Ends to compete with the metro and provide links to the areas around it - I'm yet to see an actual cross-city connection from anyone and I feel GNE could achieve that in doing so.

V7/V8 is always packed especially during half term. Would be no point in having it terminating at Whickham as who would want to go to Whickham compared to Metrocentre?
