The Y reg lowlanders have always been in the pool for the 56 etc. They just get any unbranded vehicle, whether it's a decker, Pulsar or a Solo! (or, lately, while the roadworks are on, a dart)

Which I'm on, for the next two hours...

Was quite happy when I saw one of these B7s in front of my 2. Then I saw its seats...

Hahaha! Just out of intrest, is there much legroom between the Urban90's seats on 7416? Just ask as the legroom between the seats on 7423 was pitiful. I had 7416 on the X93 before but I sat at the back upstairs.

Not a massive amount, I'm just over 6ft and my knee is firmly in the back of the seat in front

Thought that would be the case, I am something under 6ft and my knees were pretty much jammed against the seats on 7423 the other day. Other downside to those Urban90's on 7416, no USB ports in the backs of the seats.

Didn't realise that the proper MAX ones had USB ports.

7416, mechanically, seems shot. An alarm went off just after I got on at Morpeth, while the bus was still stationary, after which I overhead that the driver had problems with starting it at Newcastle.

When stationary, it starts shaking like mad every couple of seconds. It also took forever to get up to any sort of speed on the A1 after Felton. Not great impressions.

I wasn't impressed with 7423 on the X12 on Thursday, on the journey I had it was pretty slow on the A167 between Chester-le-Street and Pity Me. Wonder how they will fare on the 46/48.

Just left Alnwick, alarm is persisting, the new driver clearly isn't liking the fact it's now permanent when the engine is on, so we've stopped...

Edit: On the move again, not liking my experience on this at all.

7414/16's X15 appearance answered:

7513 is on X21/X22
7512 is on the X18, 1103 from Newcastle

Add to that, 7410 is on X10/X11 and 4518 is on 43/45.

Someone is going to get the a**e kicked again, pulsars just to say fit under Albert hill bridge, with it being sloped at both sides

Just finished at wheatley Hill just after 2pm, and driving back I was behind solo 2819 on service 22 to Sunderland, followed the solo to shotton but the arriva driver indicated right to go into shotton but cancelled his indicator and carried on up the road where the 24 comes down to go into shotton, which in turn has left passengers at the bus stops. hopefully the driver realises his mistake, but 2819 sounds like it needs some work doing to it.
