Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - June 2016

(06 Jun 2016, 1:16 pm)cbma06 wrote Just finished at wheatley Hill just after 2pm, and driving back I was behind solo 2819 on service 22 to Sunderland, followed the solo to shotton but the arriva driver indicated right to go into shotton but cancelled his indicator and carried on up the road where the 24 comes down to go into shotton, which in turn has left passengers at the bus stops. hopefully the driver realises his mistake, but 2819 sounds like it needs some work doing to it.

Oh dear.

I suspect the solo was a last minute replacement for 1518, which I saw driving off from DBS with a cracked windscreen, earlier.

Hardly a shocker. 1489's the only wrong branding/livery out of that lot.

Not according to the running boards which do have the vehicle type on them:
9/27/27a, 15, 28/28a/29 are booked for Pulsars
7 for Solos
17/17a for DAF SB120

1415 on 15

Corporate liveried blue faced "Stairs bus!" on 22

(Littl'un's newly coined terminology for a double decker, eg "Angel! Green bus! Stairs!" which is self explanatory or "Red! Stairs bus!" for a Northern, "Sapphire bus stairs!" for one of ANE's E400s)
