Will that be the end of 3832, will it be economical to repair for 6 weeks work or indeed any future sale price?

The accident damage is only minor, really.

I reckon there's still life in 3832 yet!

Aye. It was quite an impressive old chap when we caught it, a couple of weeks ago.

And? They're weeks away from being ready for service to replace anything yet.

(14 Jun 2016, 5:19 am)Dan wrote They meet half way.

Brighton & Hove's staff will take them so far, then Go North East's staff will meet them and take them back up to the North East (having travelled down in one of the company vans/minibuses).

The handover point is usually at Watford Gap Services.

Cheers Dan... I thought that could be a possibility also.

Do GNE go down to inspect the second hand buses they buy from other Go Ahead companies or is it all taken as read from phone calls and emails/written communication of some sort.  Then Offer a price to buy "X" number of used buses from the sister company and then await for delivery/collection.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - June 2016
Is 4925 still in service at Deptford?, as its the last one in service according to the GNE fleet allocation.

Wasn't sure if the last 3 Streetlites have entered service yet as sometimes the fleet allocation PDF can be behind.

I take it the B10 will remain until the remaining Scania's are repainted?

Is this why 3864 has transferred

3864 was only loaned to Chester le Street and is now back in service at Stanley.

As has been stated by S813 FVK, 3864 transferred in and out before 3875 was withdrawn. I'm not sure as to what will replace 3875.

Actually; 3875 was VOR from 07/06/16, and withdrawn soon after. It's only this week that parts have started to be removed from 3875, however.

So yes, that's why 3864 was temporarily loaned to Chester-le-Street. It was returned to Stanley at the weekend and replaced by 3887 on Monday. 3887 returned to Stanley yesterday, and 553 has taken its place today.

Any idea what they are replacing, as they don't have any older single deckers?

They do: Y-reg Scanias.

I believe some of these will be cascaded to Riverside, replacing Volvo B10BLEs.

Where's the logic in this?

It's dependent on what is required on the day.

Chester-le-Street may well have had fewer double deckers off the road today, so a single decker (or minibus - which is what Stanley have spare at the moment with 547's withdrawal still outstanding) may well have been a more appropriate loan than a double decker.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - June 2016
Plus Stanley are 1 decker down at the moment (3832). I did manage to get a ride on 3864 last night though and it wasn't that bad I didn't think.

Least the Scania moving from Chester will replace 5167

Has 4972, 5217 gone for repaint yet?

Similarly, DAF SB120 8271 has been withdrawn from service at Washington. Unlike 3875, it has been allocated a more 'permanent' replacement: it has been replaced by Volvo B10BLE 4909 (which was originally shown on Go North East's Fleet Allocation for this week as being withdrawn).

Go North East's 'Enthusiast Area' section of the website has since been updated, summarising movements which have occurred over the past few weeks:

5215 is on service X35 today, and is not planned to transfer to Chester-le-Street (yet).

It is 5216 which has transferred to Chester-le-Street, and is on services 889 / 91 / X21.

4972 has, and it should transfer to Percy Main once completed.

5217 hasn't (on service 2 today).
