Due to capacity issues, there is at least one 64 which MUST be a double deck now, although there are generally two allocated.  This is leaving 3 branded Frequenta E200s spare (including the spare), so they're being thrown out on anything that needs a bigger bus than a Solo Smile.

1416 is also on 1/5/5A/12, so that's 4 odd workings on the 1&5 duties along with 1406, 1513 and 1515. And I'm stuck with 1425!

Any idea if anything permanent is going to be sorted for the route?

Pleased someone has finally confirmed this as I've been under the impression for quite a while that at least one double decker should be allocated to the 64, especially as the double deckers would always be sighted at the same times each day and believe me, one of those afternoon runs most certainly needs a double decker in term time, I sometimes used to get said run (15:20 from Arnison Centre) when I was a New College student and having full Dart's fly straight past the stop each day sharp became tiresome, even to the point I'd sooner have stayed a little bit longer at college rather than stand like a muppet for anything up to half an hour just to get from Framwellgate Moor to Durham City Centre.
