6 won't stand alone, it will interwork with another service, Sundays won't interwork with the X30 either once the changes come in.

Just received a fiully green branded 4 page fold out promo mailing for the Angel (ironic considering the amount of regular red on there)

Sadly the booklet, which is pretty, has the wrong journey times and the wrong nearest stops listed. Bit of a marketing fail but a sign that the green Angel (featuring mainly red) is best to stay

6116,6117,6031 and 3972 have been providing emergency metro replacements this evening between north shields and monument due to the line coming down at howdon.

Stanley can complete some work that chester can't for some reason or something. It wouldn't go to the depot for just that, I don't think.

Does anyone know where are rest of the ex Blaydon Racer Citaro's going? after the other 3 return black, i would imagine one will be done in "Go North East" for Riverside after that they'll be 3 left to allocate.


The 9 should get a full Citaro allocation, as the service has a mixed allocation, all 3 to Deptford - 2 for the 9 and 1 spare for the X5, 9, 35 and 36, along with 5284 and the see it, do it Citaro.

The service couldn't operate because of an incident on the vehicle's previous journey. My dad claimed he saw one at Pontop Pike with a panel off with the possibility of police attendence. Go North East did confirm that it was due to an incident on social media.

As Stanley is the closest depot, i think it would make more sense to send it to Stanley initally with the transfer back to CLS later.

I've never been on them so can't comment on if they need everything new. haha

Didn't citaro5284 say that none of the 10 reg Mercs would be going for refurbishment (except 5328-5330 if the Crusader's get done)?

I'd certainly say so. They look like an early 90s office inside, in terms of flooring and the cream sideplates. Very grubby and uncomfortable things, which is hard for a merc to be in my opinion.

Both of the newly painted black buses are making appearances at night. They're rather sleek. Cameras hate them at night, though. It's like trying to take a picture of a star in the night sky. It rarely works!

Not sure if it's been noted, apologies if it has, but it appears Chester-le-Street will be gaining the 36 from Deptford.
