(12 Nov 2013, 8:05 am)Tom wrote A Pulsar is the allocation on the X1//X2? - But nice catch, rare one on the 306.

It was a 10reg one though, as usually it's a 61reg that operates the X2 alongside the Geminis hence why I thought it was odd, and yes the 306 was a good catch as it was it's First Journey on Friday Afteroon, no idea what it replaced as it came in N.I.S.

Yeah, it is, I agree Smile - And probably because one was late, not sure.

Stockton's X1/X2 allocation is any of the unbranded Pulsars, of which there are 8 10 regs 3 61 regs and 1512 (63 reg).

(12 Nov 2013, 4:10 pm)Dan wrote What happened to the shared Omnicity/Pulsar allocation?

No idea what's going on with the 24, there's generally still mostly Omnicity and Pulsars but there's been a Prestige on quite regular and it's not to uncommon to see a trident on too. Yesterday, there was 2 Omnicity, 1 Pulsar & 1 Prestige among the allocation not sure what the two other vehicles were.

Couple of rare working from Stockton:

4007 on 27/27a
4654 on X6

Redcar meanwhile, had 4095 on 64As until 1220 when, in a complicated 3 way swap, it replaced 1737 on the 22, with 1737 replacing 1438 on the 64A while 1438 replaced 4095 to do the X4, all 3 runs leaving 10 minutes late. Redcar also had the same E400/ on the same routes as yesterday (7501 on the 64, 7504 on the 81)

Not to mention Stockton Prestiges 4045 and 4069 on loan until Sunday.
4026 and 4049 left for scrap from Redcar on Wednesday.

Did anyone see what was on the 24/24X/43/46/48/49/49A/64 tonight for Durham Lumiere? There was a note on Arriva's website promising bigger buses.

Any info on what was allocated to the other services running additional buses?

All I noticed when driving past Belmont, was cones blocking the entrance and cars going down the exit part of the P&R.

This was about 5:45 and there were no buses on site.

Should be a decent influx of deckers from around the region, especially for Saturday and Sunday once the scholars have no effect.

Today's oddities from Teesside...

Omnicity 4652 started the day on 5A before being replaced... it later ended up replacing Pulsar 1494 on service 15, making a very rare appearance of that type on the 15!

Cadet 1917 managed at least one trip on the 21A (1045 departure from Middlesbrough).

Redcar had Enviro 400 7513 on service 64, obviously hadn't re-programmed the screens as it was just showing "Arriva North East"

Omnicity 4663 on the 46 to crook today. Seen leaving Durham at 12:50ish. Meanwhile though, Prestige 4051 on a very late running 24 seen at Millburngate at 12:40ish. On the 12:22 departure I assume.

Stockton currently have:

1459 on the 21a, will do the last short working from Middlesbrough to Thorpe Thewles at 1750
4045 on the 15
4046 on the X1/X2 (last one from Newcastle that runs all the way to Middlesbrough) replacing a late-running 1512 which in turn replaced that on the 28

1459 replaced 4062 which broke down in Deaf Hill I gather.
4045 presumably replaced one of the Centros on 15s.

Forgot to note some MPD action yesterday... Darlington had 1747 on the X66 which replaced a stricken 4644 which broke down at the lights at Newport Road/Hartington Road interchange in Middlesbrough! Redcar also saw fit to use 1743 on service 63! Both will likely be withdrawn in the coming weeks.

Omnicity 4657 on 7s today - not sure how rare it is, but it's often a Dart when I see the 7 so thought it was worth a mention.
