Is 5229-32, still going to Chester?

Will Deptford keep 5333/5334 as spares for their services as it looks like the 35 (5325-32) and 61 will be citaro (5305-5309) along with the X5

If so where will 5335/36 go? as i imagine that 5337/38 will remain as Washington along with 5324.

Imo 5305-5309 should go on 61
5325-5331 should be the 35 allocation for sequence

Could 5229 - 32 not get branded black cats and allow 4989 - 92 to be withdrawn?

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2017
Will any buses be withdrawn after tonight, as the golf is finished.

I can't get a full view of the fleet list on here, as i'm on my phone but i'm sure 4989- 92 is now Euro 5.

They're supposed to be going to Chester.

5323-5328 for 9
5336 and 5337 to deptford as spare
5205 5206 to washington as spare
5307-5309 riverside spare
5229-5332 to Percy Main releasing 5254 to washington as spare
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2017
Does the 11 on a sunday and evening really surfice having a full size single decker on. The past few weeks when ive caught this bus on a sunday or night time they are carrying next to no body. Surely they could minibus this in at this time have a better bus on

5452 is now in the BIG days out livery. The side image shows a shopping bag, popcorn and bowling pins.

6139 has been retrimmed as stated in the news, poles have not been repainted blue though,
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2017
Just seen, 3941 - broken down at Prudhoe Rail Station at 5:00pm, with Volvo B9 Tyne Tees Express (6043) sat behind.

I couldn't see the driver just the engineers, all the rear compartments of 3941 were open with Blue oil type drums sat on the ground at the rear.

That's 4 in 1 day, 4943 getting towed to riverside earlier and in I'd versa (corp) broken down with 1001 in attendance next to the metro centre ramp.

It transferred to Chester-le-Street this afternoon. 3942 similarly to Washington.

3964 then immediately loaned to Crook, due to shortages.

6115 is the fourth and final bus to receive branding for the Big Days Out campaign - this one carries a variant with a dinosaur on, for the Centre of Life.

What will it replace at Washington?

I can't access the depot section on the fleet list to check, as i'm on my phone.

Based on the fact that 3886/7/9 and 6032 still need to be withdrawn, 3941/2 transferring to Washington and 3963/4 to Chester-le-Street will allow 6141/2 and 6135/40 to all transfer to Stanley.

Spot on!

Given the shortages at Crook at the moment and the impact this has on Chester-le-Street's fleet, unlikely that Chester-le-Street's OmniDekka will cascade to Stanley immediately.

3963/64 should be the dedicated spares for the Angel 21 - bit of a throwback for Ambassador, if nothing else...

Yeah , due to misc work losses 4945 went to riverside and 6134 went to percy main
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2017
Any chance that the "Black Cat" Scania's and 698-700 will get WIFI?, all but the 38, 61, 238 and the 700 have WIFI at Deptford..... haven't included the 9 as the Citaro's do have it but the Scania's don't.... likely that'll change, where service 9 won't have WIFI at all.

Thanks Dan  Big Grin

Given the Hybrids tendency to well...break, I’m guessing that B7s return as back up spares?
Wistfully stuck in the 90s

Somewhat old news now, but to aid with the updating of the news, I have listed the missing taglines below attaching photos where possible:

633: '35 Million Miles' tagline replaced with the 'Recharge Your Batteries' variant
647: 'Never Miss Your Stop'
4966: '35 Million Miles'
5205: 'Recharge Your Batteries'
5206: 'Recharge Your Batteries'
5207: 'Never Miss Your Stop'
5214: 'Stay Connected'
5216: 'No Change?'
5217: 'No Change?'
5451: 'Stay Connected'

5452 had the 'Stay Connected' tagline too but lost this when it gained its 'BIG days out' advertisement.
