Nothing set in stone for the Streetlite, but the Strata is only here for two weeks (will be returned on Friday 17th November).

Can we use Go North East passes on the 40/40A/40B?
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

Has a Scania gone to Washington to replace 5338?, since that's gone for refurbishment.

While I remember:

What is the reasoning for some of the Versas (8322 & 8327 at least) having larger 'via' points the destinations, matching the size of the main terminal point? They seem to be the standard 144x19 display so I can't think of any reason as to why they would need to display things differently.

They have different microchips inside them - they were built like that at Hanover.

That's a shame - I don't think they look that great but they still do the job.

It appears to do so as 708 was on the 40 and 40A yesterday as I got a photo of it on the 40A and a photo was posted on Facebook of it on the 40

Hopefully they are as powerful as 3943, Also hope they pop up on the X88.

(05 Nov 2017, 4:15 pm)Michael wrote When will 4899  be withdrawn?

More than likely once the remaining Tynedale Express Scanias have been repainted and transferred to Chester releasing an older Scania to Riverside.

With 5338 now away down Blackburn for refurbishment and 5337 to follow suit in the coming weeks, will they retain there existing seating type or will they get Civic V3's like the other Mercs in the fleet?

4899 should be gone, as 5201, 5202 & 5210 should replace 4898, 4899 & 4946, but sadly it is still on road.

(03 Nov 2017, 5:19 pm)park5354 wrote Cheers, forgot about one.

Was there a 9103 ?

Like 9093, I suspect 9103 was missed due to Go North East having a bus in their fleet with this number previously (albeit historically as Northern, opposed to recently). Go North East tend to be much better at not re-using fleet numbers, compared to Arriva.

In the case of 9093, OK Motor Services bought a number of former London Transport ECW bodied Bristol LHs. OK Motor Services' fleet numbers historically tallied up with their registration marks.

The original 9093 (OJD 93R), former London Transport BL93, was re-registered as TAJ 295R in April 1991 and numbered 9295 as a result. Former London Transport BL88 (OJD 88R) was hence re-numbered and re-registered as 9093 (OJD 93R).

When Go-Ahead acquired the operations of OK Motor Services, this vehicle was also acquired, retaining the same fleet number until withdrawal.

No, unfortunately not. That's why there's nothing on Go North East's website about this service.

No, not yet.

(05 Nov 2017, 1:38 pm)EL1TE wrote 7099 was too.

Also today, I saw on metro replacements:
3968, 3971, 6019, 6084 and 6099.

The complete list of vehicles on Metro Replacement today is 3963, 3968, 3970, 3971, 5229, 6016, 6019, 6048, 6084, 6099 and 6100.

5229 was only used for one early morning trip.

Should be on the X88 on Saturdays (like 6141/42 were).

On paper, once the Mercedes Citaro refurbishment programme is completed (so late January).

The transfer of 5201 and 5202 to Riverside has no bearing on the withdrawal of any further elderly Volvo B10BLE or Scania L94 from Riverside.

5210 replaced 4935 in Riverside's fleet - displacing this vehicle to become a float/reserve vehicle to cover for Mercedes Citaros away for refurbishment.

Civic V3 i would imagine, they're going to be better spec than the Connections 4 Citaro's, if they go back to Washington... But i don't think they will, same as 5324.

Once all of the Citaro's are refurbished, will anything else in the fleet go for refurbishment?

I would have thought if there were plans to refurbish the OmniCitys, these would have been done before the younger Mercedes Citaros.

If anything, I think we'll just see Wi-Fi retrofitted to the examples which haven't yet had this work done already. It won't be too long before these buses are on "lesser" routes - they probably wouldn't justify the significant investment to undergo a full refurbishment.
