Perhaps some of the Black Cats Solars in the short term with something else taking over later on?

I wonder why the 61 has even been cancelled. Certainly suggests to me that the changes in January are not just involving South Tyneside.

Hope not, most of the solar's are horrible. 


I agree, i think we'll see more changes too, hopefully, nothing drastic,hopefully more are put on VOSA in the next few days.

I would have loved to see Citaros on the 5/50 I think they would be ideal for that route. However Id rather the scanias than streetlights. Whats happening to the buses off the 88?

I would suggest Every 20 minutes, although they are trying to do what they did with the 42A, combine 3 routes into one. The 88, 9, 61 all combined into one route, will it work? Hopefully!

Tried to work out the new 9 route, i think its going to take 110 minutes one way, i didn't count the 61 as a loop now, i only went too Murton Webb Avenue.

Frequency every 20 minutes, PVR would be 11
Frequency every 15 minutes, PVR would be 15


Every 20 minutes seems more likely.

When the new 9 gets too Sunderland City Centre from Murton, which way will it go?, will it go in to where stand A-G is and then continue out and then on to Holmeside, Fawcett Street.

On the way in to the City Centre will it, do John Street then Holmeisde, then follow the same way around as the X6/X7/38 and 238 around to Park Lane?

Going to use the A-G section for both directions. Same route as previous in Sunderland, except when heading to Luke's Lane it's going to go down Burdon Road onto Fawcett Street like the Stagecoach 20, missing out Holmeside altogether.

So would I. I only asked due to the being no mention of a route variation for the X30 etc which may rule Stanley out of the B9TL discussion. It may be a case of them reverting it back to the X30/X31 being standalone with only the 6 and X70/X71 interworking which would allow for the full height deckers.

It said on their brief post about the changes, in the new year, however with the amount of changes happening, i would hope it was before Christmas.
