Might X21GNE find its way onto a Streetdeck?
The X21GNE plate is now in place on 6333.

The interior blue paint really stands out on the small corner windows upstairs

6333 looks quite smart in the Xlines livery, although I do prefer the look of the CE Streetdecks that don't have the staircase window. It just seems to flow better with the gold all the way along
Still not a fan of the staircase vinyl, but it does look better than the one on the Cobalts

What is the alternative though? A massive empty space that shows every scuff and bit of muck?
(26 Aug 2019, 9:46 pm)BusLoverMum wrote I love the staircase vinyl. Always liked the vinyls in some of Arriva's vehicles for the 7 and 24. Beautiful Durham scenery - what's not to like?
IIRC, Arriva's are particularly low resolution so look quite blurry. Hopefully GNE's look a lot better when you get close up
(23 Aug 2019, 5:32 pm)streetdeckfan wrote Looks much smarter!
Always wondered what the point of the rear add with standees a was trying to get across.

6915, 6916, 6917, 6918, 6919 & 6932 are at Consett with 6124, 6125, 6131, 6167, 6168 & 6169 leaving. 6133 & 6143 remain but I do wonder if they’ll go before the scholars go back.

Yep, they don't look too bad!
He also confirmed that the Streetdecks are getting half and half V3 seats in the same style

It's just EY with GNE branding. Not a fan of the full red seats and staircase. Still better than what's on current X30 vehicles
It's a shame. I really liked the interior of the Angel Streetdecks. The new interior, as smart as it look, looks like base spec rather than high spec
And as Martijn also confirmed, there will be 3 different seat styles on the X21s, the blue leather, red/blue leather with foam topping, and the red half and half (but on the V3 seats instead.

6085 is getting some emission modifications, along with the other fab 56s, wonder when they will get a fresh coat of paint

Also mentioned is the 93/94 getting a refresh later this year.
Can't see anything more than the Citaros going on the 93/94 with Streetlites going on the 57 maybe.

6149-6161 will be going somewhere when the streetdecks arrive for Consett, is it possible some might end up on the 93/94?

6131 now in service at Riverside. Waiting to do 10X at Eldon Square.
(28 Aug 2019, 4:08 pm)streetdeckfan wrote I just noticed today that the rear fleet number on 6333 is at the very top, above the upstairs window. Was it like that on 6304 as well?
Also I noticed that the Red Kites NSA has been updated to add the X to the route. Seems like they temporarily updated them before rebranding as X-Lines, but never bothered with the X21
I don't use it too much nowadays, but I think the X21 NSAs have been off since the Tindale Crescent extension?

6149-6161 will more than likely end up at Riverside for the 6's as they due to be converted to Euro 6 ahead of the low emission zone being introduced in Newcastle.
