For the Cobalts, I believe it's just 6115, 6116 & 6117 left to be done.
Don't forget 6100.

I heard it was to give you better visibility of table availability on the upper-deck. It would have been more difficult with the horrendous window-covering Castles Express vinyls.
Hopefully the Angel follows suit!

The Castles Express vinyls never covered the upstairs windows, only downstairs.
Although, a mirrored ceiling would be quite helpful!

What's wrong with the Tyne Valley Ten brand name? With the majority of branded buses in the Gateshead area being green (new Xlines, Green Arrow, Saltwell Park, etc), I'd assume any re-brand of the 10 would continue with the green colourscheme.
Living in Low Fell I use the 21 daily at various times depending on my rota at work or just on a normal day off, most notably in the last week I have noticed the 21's being a lot busier than usual with one example being the 18:45ish 21 from Eldon Square having standees on a handful of journey's this week, morning peak journey's also busier than usual. Going back prior to the change this definitely was not the case.
Has anyone else noticed an increase in passenger numbers on any services since the changes were made to bus fares across the region?

Is it not more the case that schools/colleges went back last week?

I quite like the name, I just really dislike the current livery.
Also, while just looking at the 309 timetable, I noticed that the livery is different to what is currently on the buses, it has outlines of the landmarks where it currently has the ad/contactless vinyl. Was that planned and never implemented, or is it coming later?

Nah they were less notable than usual as there were only a couple of them on, clearly they didn't go to the Joseph Swan Academy or Cardinal Hume which are the major two in the locality of Low Fell with Scholars through the fell to both which would take them away from the main services anyway.

There's a handful of different versions. The skyline is just one version.

What about something like this? I just threw it together in Illustrator changing the blue to green and adding in some graphics from the current TVT

Hmmmmmm, it does look quite smart actually. Not sure of the water & canoe bit but would work if perhaps blended in slightly more.

More 'broken down' buses causing chaos.
So that's what all the traffic was this morning then!

GNE tweeted the 0720 departure wasn't operating.
The timings on the link indicate that the footage was taken at 0804.
So it was waiting there at the end of the Redheugh for almost an hour; someone has the time wrong or there was more than one issue this morning with the X9/10.
On a different note, there was a TTX Citaro parked up in the layby at the top of Houghton Cut this morning. There was a fitter mooching around.
Sounds like vehicle issues weren't unique to Riverside this morning.

I was on the X30 that was due to get into Eldon Square at 0744 and we passed it at about 8, I thought it was just waiting at the lights, but it did seem a bit strange there was no traffic past the lights!

Yes shame just picture of the welcome board....dont know if that confirms 97 will remain Green Arrow, I'm still hoping for return to the highwayman
Getting a bit of a telling off in the replies there!
On a different topic, what level of communication takes place between the company and vinyl fitters?
6109 branded within the last couple of days and still fitted with the vinyl advertising the Family Day Ticket at £10, despite it having being increased to £12 in the recent fare revisions.

Commercial team and the vinyl fitters are unlikely to ever cross, but could one not fire an email off to Saltmeadows to pass on requesting that they don't fit a certain vinyl because it is out of date?

Dan's posted interior/exterior shots of E200. Green is very reminiscent of highwayman
