The Volvo B9s completed so far are 6043-48, 6071-84, 6085-87/89-91/94-98, 6100/2/3/5/8/11/16/17 and 6150/53/54.
8307 and 8328 are also fitted with trial Euro 6 systems.
Thanks Dan, quite a few done then.
What kind of interior spec do these EY acquisitions have compared to the brand new X-Lines vehicles?

6337 has had USB ports fitted so it should be up to the same spec as the new vehicles, if anything it might be better because it has what I believe to be better seats.
I always thought there would have to be a 'generic' X-lines livery, I just didn't think it would be the grey!

Yes quite surprised to hear it as generic and not a variant. I thought the black was going to encompass the current red kite routes. From the blurry pictures the xlines skyline look to be similar to X21 and no red kite in sight.

Think it’s for the X31/X70/X71 the grey variant of X-lines as it said those will be going into X-lines on the article GNE published back in June unless the Red Kite are getting a slightly different version if/when the new Streetdecks arrive.

The current X31 works off an incoming X45 and back onto X46, X70/71 work onto/off X46. But also a picture posted from the inside of wrightbus shows a number of green backed streetdecks, the timetable for the X30/31 is also green. Looks the the other ex eyms E400 will go green to make up the numbers.
I think the red variant will be for the X1 when it’s announced that route will be upgraded to Xlines.

Yes I remember the launch, just it strange for it to be described by Dan as a generic xlines livery as opposed to a variant.

One of the EY E400 is in black xlines so unsure what's happening now.....I would of thought that all E400 were going green and streetdecks mixture of black green and blue but doesn't seem to be the case now
It also appears GNE have given away the base colours for the new style liveries on the updated NSA. The NSA on 97 depicts the 2 base colour base used externally. If that is anything to by
56 - dark/lighter shade of orange. Yellow stripe
4 - dark/lighter shade of blue. Gold stripe
X1 - red and orange Xlines. Yellow road stripe

I passed a Gemini on the 21 the other evening and on the approach, could have sworn it was 3943 in its X1 livery.
Turns out it was a 69xx and it was the corporate livery.
It got me thinking and wondering if it was time to keep the red, yellow and blue away from anything other than the corporate livery if they're wanting to make route liveries stand out away from anything standard and corporate.

I agree in getting rid of the likes of the 49 and the 9 brand as they are in corporate livery anyway. But dont agree in banning red blue and yellow across all liveries

I've always liked 'The 49' branding to be honest, it's very simple and there's no mistaking that it's a 49! I was just honestly surprised they got the NSA right with it and it didn't end up saying "This is 'The 49' 49 service to Gateshead"!
Normally I would say I don't think they'd get rid of a route brand so soon, but they killed The Castles Express after only 3 and a half years!

There would be no mistaking the 49 anyway as the destination displays say its the 49 but I dont see the point in slapping a big number on and calling it branding.........well stagecoach and Arriva seem to think so anyway
Yes they did but replaced it with something far better!

I mean, I like the X-lines branding, but it still feels a bit too corporate for my liking. I liked the individuality of the different routes.
It's also probably got something to do with hearing "This is the Castles Express X21 Service to Bishop Auckland" literally 100 times a day for the past few years so anything else sounds strange!

To be fair I felt the same when the solos were branded, it seemed like brands were being diluted.
However now that it has been rolled out over a few services, I think they really do look the part. The livery reflects the high spec interiors and really do make them stand out from the crowd. I was disappointed when the Castles Express started to go too, however I much prefer their new incarnation

Bet it was you.........you wanted a souvenir
These drivers that they are sending down on the X21 are getting worse, I wonder if they have been saving the worst for last!
The route through Woodhouse is hard enough when you know the area, never mind if you've never been here before. We've had drivers go the wrong way, miss out stops, literally knock down walls. Probably doesn't help that a StreetDeck is far too big for the route!

Both ex-EYMS E400s will be getting the charcoal/grey Xlines. Seems like a strange decision to me since the of them will be dedicated to the X30 so I would have thought it'd be green to match the three new ones.
Although Dan does make a good point that they're different internal spec so it makes sense to have them different on the outside too.
Plus, the rest of the spare StreetDecks will be in the charcoal/grey livery. Apparently 6301-6303 were painted into corporate since they are also spares for the 21. Would have been nice to have at least one of them painted into the charcoal/grey as a dedicated Xlines spare for the X21
Looks like there's no news from Wrightbus as to when the new StreetDecks will arrive, chances of them arriving this year are looking very slim at this point!

Probably the 93/94 go into normal livery

I think at the moment there are recruiting staff which will take a couple of weeks as there be reducing the work force that will be working there

Metrocity is being taken off. Wonder what the problem is with it?
