(16 Jan 2014, 10:59 pm)CatsFast101 wrote I don't think it's currently planned for the 9 to branded, too many repaints etc currently. I think we've now assumed Percy main will be operating them but not sure as I think (without looking) the timetable means that buses on short runs stay on shorts all day so it's unclear where changes will occur. Unless maybe 3 omnicity move to Deptford and they do operate them?
(16 Jan 2014, 11:01 pm)Kuyoyo wrote How can Deptford take on 3 OmniCitys when those being displaced from Cobalt Clipper all already have allocated home. Pure and simply, the short 9s will likely be Solar-worked.
(16 Jan 2014, 11:07 pm)CatsFast101 wrote But have they? Apart from the Whey Aye 5-0 we don't really know where the others are heading, X30/X31 was mentioned a while back but it's gone quiet on that front and many have speculated they maybe kept for the 9.
Also, how many Solars do you think Deptford have?! Remember these 14 Solars are replacing at least 11 SPD's (Renowns, Vykings may also be leaving Deptford) 7 are required for 29's, 5 are to be branded for X35/X36; only leaves 2 Solars and these will be required for spares to fill in on 20's/2A/2C/60's etc.
(17 Jan 2014, 7:33 am)CatsFast101 wrote How many Cobalt Clipper Omnicitys were there? 10 yeah?
6 are going to Whey Aye 5-0, that leaves 4 left but the X30/X31 PVR is 5.

(17 Jan 2014, 7:51 am)Tom wrote That's because the likelihood of those transferring to Stanley is very slim, waste of time having for the X30 and X31 when the PVR isn't enough. They'll probably be used on the 9. Unless 4906/07/08/09/11/20/22/24/25 tranfer to Percy Main for use on the 9, with 4906 and 4907 as spares? Then two Solar's transfer to replace 8239 and 8241. Therefore, this would allow 5246/47/48/49/50/53/54/73 to move to Stanley for use on the X30/X31/X70/X71.
(17 Jan 2014, 8:46 am)Kuyoyo wrote Why do people keep assuming Percy Main will operatic the short 9s? The likelihood is they will be operated by Deptford. And, given they will be some freed up by the 36/36A going, Cadet operation maybe possible.
(17 Jan 2014, 8:43 am)Kuyoyo wrote Who is to say Percy Main's keeping all 4 'Northern' ones? The simple truth is the 9 doesn't really justify OmniCity operatoions so likelihood is it will be downgraded to free up the other Nortehrn Omnis to be back-up on the 1.
(17 Jan 2014, 8:53 am)andreos1 wrote According to you last night, the 4 Northern Omnis were off to do the x30/x31.
Now you are saying they are back up for the 1...
(17 Jan 2014, 8:53 am)GuyParkRoyal wrote People make the assumption that Percy Main will operate 9's because it has been GNE policy since the Peter Huntley days that one depot should take ownership of a route to ensure that one person is accountable for quality and performance ( Lime 78 being the exception to the rule).
(17 Jan 2014, 8:56 am)Kuyoyo wrote No, 5250/3/4/73 ie the ex-Cobalt ones repainted red are the ones going for the X30/X31. Add one of 5247/8/9/74 to thoses and you get the 5 for the X30/X31.
(17 Jan 2014, 9:08 am)Kuyoyo wrote 5255-60 are the ones for the 50, as for which red ones stay and which ones goes I don't known but others on here might do.
(16 Jan 2014, 9:30 pm)busman101 wrote Scratchcard prizes are a free return on the Fab 56, a free week ticket (which ends up being a red & purple zone ticket) or bugger all ! If your lucky, you get a Double Decker as well as its a bit of while stocks last situation - but we've got 750 for the 3 days & 3,000 scratchcards.
I hope it works too, but there's been some really good feedback so far from customers and the promotion folk who've been out and about this week.
