When a route has it's full allocation of branded buses. Can't remember the last time it happened at Blyth, Jesmond or Ashington.

Solo on the x4 today

Blyth's 7613 spent yesterday on loan to Ashington, working an X21/22 board.

Likely due to the disruption caused by the severe winds, Ashington have had 7484 working an X15 board since 12:15.

February 2022

Was walking the dog this morning at 06:10 around Oakerside in Peterlee and seen 2 Arriva buses on service 24 to Durham 2 minutes apart, wonder if one of them was delayed at Durham depot?

1567 and 1570 on the X93 today.
According to BusTimes anyway. Didn't actually catch their numbers when I saw them
According to the same site, two Solos were on it too. No idea if that's a standard run or not. Doesn't appear to be looking at the runs on there. But could be wrong.

Streetlite on the X12 and Durham 62.
X12 branded Pulsar on the 5 or 28 (didn't catch which one).

Ashington had 2601 (35s) and 7612 (X21/22s) working for them today.

1800 has been on the 1 today providing abit of a blast from the past. 2813 & 16 been on the 2 which Ashington using solos on the 2 seems quite common.

1571 and 1572 both on the 62 today
1564 was on the 81 yesterday

Ashington allocations all over the place lately due to vehicle shortages. Solos on X21/2, 7446 on the 2 etc.

Yeah I regularly travel on the 1 and 2 services and since Ashington took over its pretty much anything goes. Even had Enviro 400 MMC 7547 on the 2 last week and other enviro's like 7532 on the 1. 7446 on the 2 was really nice today! Guess the passengers on the x21 and x22 might not be so happy with the solos and dart on there though!

2601 & 7560 on loan to Ashington aswell as 1923 being put into service there (not sure weather it is on loan or permanent but hopefully permanent as 1923 was brilliant when I had it on the X22 today).

1923 is perm that i am aware of and it is possible that 1924 is coming up to ashington aswell

2834 was on the 62 today. Is this on loan or a transfer to redcar

bustimes has 7411 on the X20 today! That would be a nice trip to do whilst the Volvo B7's are still around!

And it looks like more strange allocations at Ashington like 2816 on the X15 and 3 Enviro 400's on the 2.

Ashington is desperate for it's new buses. There's seems to be a complete missing board on the 57/57A atm as 2849 seems to be knackered (again). There's also a Decker on aswell.

1571 on the 62

7532 and 7533 both noted working for Jesmond this morning, while both 1495/1537 are tracking on Ashington runs. I assume this has something to do with the upcoming Metro closure and giving Jesmond higher capacity vehicles to deal with it?

Last couple of days there has been Blyth buses at Ashington. 7635 yesterday on the X14 and 7608 today on the X15.

Not really a working, but spotted one of ANE's X93/4 liveried Gemini deckers being towed into Jesmond this evening by Alpha. Didn't get near enough to get fleet number or reg, but Bus Times would suggest it was 7406.

Also spotted a Journey Mark liveried Plaxton Centro inside Jesmond. Probably 1923 ?

Could be 1536 - sure that one is there and 1535 is at Blyth.

2704 did a round trip on the X20 today (Ashington - Alnwick, Alnwick - Newcastle, Newcastle - Ashington) before being replaced by 7563.

X93 B9TL just seen heading east on the felling bypass NIS, any ideas what it's doing and where its been?
