As posted by Lee Wardle on ‘Busesnortheast’ Facebook Group, Carlisle-based MAN E300 22887/9/90 are transferring to the North East fleet this weekend, initially as Commonwealth Games floats before being retained to replace 3 of the older ALX300s - like their fellow ex-Dunfermline-based sisters at Slatyford, they retain their original MAN engines.
