6337 is still technically XLines even though in Queen Jubilee livery, due to the high back coach seating.

It appears to be a common misconception that Xlines has its own interior, it's just the standard GNE interior (with cream headrests on new vehicles).

Expect to see a tweet from our well known bus blogger and a waft of emojis from a desire creator.
Or not... Its the wrong operator. They won't do that.

The more I look at the "road stripe" livery, the more I see a hidden meaning behind it, let me explain:

Red: From the Northern days, most subsidiaries back before dereg were red, with a white band, this explains the red and the white stripe.
Yellow Stripe: a nod to the venture days of when the buses were Yellow and maroon, also the Tyne and Wear PTE livery.
Blue: Sunderland District blue and in the 90s the prominent Go Ahead Gateshead colour.

Isn't it just more a hark to GoNorthEast. It's been it's three brand colours since it started bar a period where the yellow was dropped for a bit.

Nah, its as OP said, its a ex GNW one.
RE: Repaints into 2019 fleet livery
It's a ex GNW example. It has a Gemini 1 front shame and bonded glazing.

The ex London ones are Gemini 2 and have gasket glazing.

The ex Finglands / EYMS ones are Gemini 1 and also Gasket glazing

Wasn't sure what thread to put this under ,
All graphite solos are coming off service 39s from September with Streetlights (83**) replacing them, also the Cherry ? branding is being withdrawn

Why would the 65 be upgraded to Decker's it's already had it's frequency cut and is down to hourly on a temporary timetable.

Also it's not really a surprise the Cherry's are going. The Merc's are on borrowed time, it's pretty obvious when the Streetdeck's go to their new route and the electrics come into play at Riverside they won't be around for long.

(22 Aug 2022, 2:54 pm)omnicity4659 wrote not just the cherry citaros being withdrawn either... apparently something "temporary" also sees a permanent fleet change at the very least.

*cough* X20's citaros *cough*
GNE even more of a shambles.

So basically all these temp changes are permanent. Including the freq reductions

Apparently some of the Graphites are going to Percy Main, the Violet Mercs are staying and the xline Mercs ( X20) are going

Ah so X20 is cancelled.

(22 Aug 2022, 3:29 pm)omnicity4659 wrote Not sure if the route is permanently cancelled, but the Citaros are. As Retro Nero says, it's thought that the Violets will be the only ones staying.

Weren't the Citaros supposed to a while back anyway?

(22 Aug 2022, 3:32 pm)Unber43 wrote But then what are going on the 35 & Increase PVR in the 20.

There isn't enough buses at Deptford.

There's enough Versa's around to do them. The 20 should have enough buses anyway especially with the 60/65 decrease for the time being. (There won't be an issue with buses if they're restored).

Depending on what goes on what at Riverside / Consett / Hexham there's the potential for every Versa bar the batch at Washington and the 09 plates which are mostly withdrawn to all go to Deptford.
