That's not true. Most of the time I've seen the 684, a normal Solo has looked 'cosy' to say the least.

hmm. Maybe we've had different experiences. 

Also I saw on GNE website that there are works taken place in Wylam so only the solo operated boards can now operate for a period of 3-4 months I think it is, so it takes the service to every 2 hourly in that location. 

If what you say is true I assume it would get 5377-78-79 for the 684 & 717/718 for 74 + Spare. Hopefully they can be refurbed and have USB's Added.

Original Plan pre-covid was

StreetDecks:
- 13x X31/X45/X46
- 9x X47/X70/X71
- 4x X5/X15
- 4x X21 (when increased to every 15 mins)
- 6377 - floater

E400MMC:
- 3x X30/X31
- 1x X30/X31 (from 2019/20 order)
- 14x X1 (from 2019/20 order)

Later down the line........'Potentially' StreetDeck OM936 or Scania N250UD:
- 7x X9/X10 >> B5TLs cascaded to X84/X85 (PVR 5x)

How many citarios are left now at GNE apart from the Washington citarios for the 4?, just that by bustimes there’s only 5 left, we’re the

When Sept 4th changes hit 5328-5333 were totally removed, and as they popped back up again 5331-5333 they re-appeared from bus times. 

So I have no idea, Hopefully they come back much nicer than the streetlites.

There is the 4 branded ones at Washington and at Deptford you have the Violet branded ones and the X Lines ones (5327 - 5336 I think).
The X Lines were/are mothballed. Some have returned to service but I don't think all have.

It seems like 6301 has moved from Washington to Deptford and 6357 has moved from Deptford to Washington

There are/were 4 (I think) Washington buses based out of Deptford recently. I believe this is down to lack of parking space at Washington.

Does anyone know what's wrong with 5400, 8 branded Country Ranger have been off since the 2nd of September? Or 5462 which has been off since 22nd July?

5400 is mothballed as it isn’t required at present due to the reduced frequency on service 8.

5463 has been awaiting a new engine and MOT since July. Should be back in service within the next week or so then will transfer from Riverside to Washington.

Its not on bustimes anymore, I had to go on the 97 then got it on that to track it to see where it last track but if you go in fleet lists and search for it, its not there.

Quite a significant fire from a video I've seen, be very surprised it it comes back

It depends on the damage, as the entire back will need to be replaced, its only 3 years old. Compared to 8309(?) which entire body burnt down.

Scratch that..just seen whats left of it.

They should move out of Bensham aswell and just move into Riverside. 

The only issue of that would be the GNE Headquarters are the bottom of left back of the buses would have to be changed.

More then the entire back, needs replace, it be effectively a full rebuild due to the smoke damage. It will depends what the insurers will find what's viable, rebuild the bus or replace it with a similerly aged second hand example.

Rumours are that the Volvo B9/Levante Coaches (Charterplan etc) are going down south (possibly Plymouth). This fits in with what I've already been told about NF wanting rid of the coaches (not on Nat Ex) and the retendering of the services that use them (4274/5025).

Not surprised the coaches are going to go. Costly assets to have sitting around just in case they need them for rail replacement and the fact the school contracts could be easily covered by a standard bus.

7128 required a new alternator and has been off the road for over a week now.

7132 is at Riverside for checks.

Which of 3941/42/43 & 3962/63/64/65 are Euro 6? and what are the future plans for these? 

Will they be spaced around the depot for emergency spares for Newcastle services, and not allowed on any other routes?
