6963. Quite a nice ride and decent legroom

preferable to 5509 following behind
Wistfully stuck in the 90s

5490 is absolutely rammed out of Newcastle on the 21

Nothing says we don’t care about our customers than putting not one but two on the 21 (and if they don’t have available deckers…sack the head of engineering as they’re clearly incompetent too)

I’m impressed that the Head of Engineering’s competence is based upon whether he has the ability to control mindless youths throwing bricks and stones at bus windows on the route of the 21 service.

Must say glad some people don't live in an area where Blyth operate. There'd be daily meltdowns over allocations and staff being sacked left, right and centre or Durham, Darlington or Stockton either while we're at it. There's just no attempt at all lately. Not that I really care as a bus is better than no bus imo.
RE: Go North East: Rare & Odd Workings 2022
Why do we have a consett green XLines at the Sunderland depot operating the 56?
Where are the graphites currently located??
Are the timetables going back to normal?
These 1 bus per hour on the 39 is ridiculous.

They are in use temporarily on scholars because GNE are short of school buses (due to delay with conversion and delivery of ex-London Volvo B9s, and high number of Metro Flow buses VOR for MOT). On weekends, they have a habit of cropping up on the 56.

The Graphites are currently mothballed at Sunderland.

The timetables will go back to normal when resource permits.

All timetables which were temporary cut? Or just some?. The streetdecks on 56 are a nice upgrade

677 (Graphite) and 5333 (X-lines) are the only two that remain active in a float/reserve capacity to aid the high VOR at Sunderland and Washington.

Riverside are similarly using Quaycity 5384/85.

6074 - X21
6083 - 21
8320 - 56
5410 - 56
3943 - 56 (seems to have broke down earlier, after being off for a couple of weeks)

56 had 3/4 single deckers on today

Ah right, thats what I probably thought.
I was tracking a bus and was in a rush on the map view on Bustimes hence why I briefly noticed it.

Not ideal but any bus turning up on these services today proved to be a challenge, especially on the X21 with many trips being delayed as much as 45 mins on some journeys owing to traffic pretty much everywhere along the route, this led to journeys being cancelled, turned short or sent light to start somewhere along the route.

I've seen the X21 running NIS to through Tindale to West Auckland quite a lot recently, even with passengers on board.

Few I saw today (difn't get numbers);
- Graphite Solo on 20/A
- Blonde Solo on 24 (and presumably 5, 9 & 26 too)
- Versas on 33 and 700s
