Would it not have made sense to do it on a 2019 liveried bus? I think the PVR at Consett for the X30 etc uses all 14 e400s?

I believe the plan is for it to remain at Consett, where it forms part of the PVR of the X-lines services there - the brand of course being slightly diluted by the fact there won’t be enough branded buses to meet PVR.

Never mind some smart arse advert......some Enviro's in black 'X-Lines' and suitable vehicle allocations for passengers in Teesside, East Durham, the Wear Valley and Durham City would definitely 'get bums onboard'.

Tbf they were blatently designed to be painted black (or silver), same with the Enviro 400's.

They missed the light cluster below on the B9's though.

6100 is now in "Bums on seats" livery and at Sunderland Depot (sorry no pics)

Does anyone know if or when the Durham Diamond E400s will enter service?

6233 was pictured in Sunderland on staff shuttles, so hopefully not too long to go now.

Cause the advert isn't on the front of the bus. It's just the fleet livery front with the advert after the cab

Looks like the front is wrapped. The corporate red headlight surrounds differ to the red wrap.

They are permanent fleet acquisitions and won’t be returning to Go North West, but I can’t see Go North East painting them. In theory they could already be surplus to requirements at Go North East, if they were to use the two Sprinters on service work, rather than them being used on the staff shuttle at Deptford.

And that is prior to any service changes in July - the rumoured loss of the contract on service 39 between Doxford Park and The Galleries might see the minibus requirement at Deptford reduce.
