I personally think people can only take so much of getting abuse off people and that is why some don't last long in the industry. If you're nice to the public, they're generally nice back, but it's hard to put on a smile when you're getting blamed for something which isn't your fault (running late, breakdowns etc.)
Is it just the public, or are management 'techniques' and decisions questionable too?
Not just at one specific operator either.
