RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015
1301 has appeared on Ashington's sheets today. I'm told that this will displace a StreetLite for type training.

(27 Mar 2015, 4:49 pm)mb134 wrote Must have been lucky then! Mine was on time (15.42Â from Bedlington Red Lion to Newcastle)
It was driven by a driver I find to always be on time though, maybe that was the reason. Think it was 7526 can't remember fullyÂ

Or, the bus beforehand took a hammering and he ended up with hardly anybody on.Nah he had a fair few on, I'd say higher than average for that particular run. But, like the other times I've had him, he drove well and even had time to let passengers get to their seats before driving off, while remaining on time, I think we may have been one minute late at one point but that was about it.

(28 Mar 2015, 4:22 pm)aureolin wrote I think there was, but couldn't really see from the road. Everything was tucked away apart from this one. There was the Streetlite you can see behind, another one parked behind an ALX300, and another Sapphire E400 right at the back.1601 is the Streetlite behind. Was awkward to get photos of them!
(28 Mar 2015, 4:42 pm)mb134 wrote Was just looking through some photos on Flickr, and noticed that some other Arriva divisions were recieving Citaro's while the North East were recieving Pulsars?Â
Surely some of the routes that the Pulsars were deployed on would have been better suited to Citaro's, such as the Blyth expresses, the X2/12 etc?

The Sapphire base-liveried E400, where is that headed, I presume the 7 seeing as that is due deckers? Also, a MAX-liveried Streetlite as well as a Sapphire base-liveried example?
Thanks!

The MAX Streetlites are for the X1 (Darlington again)
The Sapphire ones are for the 22 (again, sure I saw that somewhere) so also Durham
