(30 Mar 2015, 9:01 pm)aureolin wrote 7 year contract with a two year option wasn't it? If the two year option of an extension is taken, I'd expect to hear about it in the next few months, as there's a lengthy tender process to start otherwise!
I wonder if a Go-Ahead consortium will go for it? Seeing as they're running it most of the time anyway.

(30 Mar 2015, 9:07 pm)Malarkey wrote Yeah ermmm Malarkey ballsed up on the date aureolin, was meant to be 01/04/2015 rather than 2016, referencing April Fools Day and the entire Network being down.

Started April 1st 2010, so it'll end April 1st 2017. It feels like it's been a long 5 years!

(31 Mar 2015, 6:04 am)Dan wrote Don't know if it's still the same problem as last night, but the Metro I usually catch is delayed this morning. The one after it is, too, as it's not yet on the boards and it usually pops up when it departs South Hylton.
Towards South Hylton, the arrivals are both said to be due in 9 minutes. Crazy.
