I think all of the R-reg darts had chassis issues at their end of life, which was probably one of the reasons why they were all scrapped. I assume a lot of chassis repairs will need to be done to 33101 during restoration.

Not just chassis repairs, but probably a full overhaul to the body,chassis and engine area.

Also it will need heavy repairs to its gearbox as when it was at shields it had a sticky gearbox which meant it would go into high reving in gear 1 and then jerk roughly as it changed gear.

 I think all darts have chassis issue's of some sort from corrosion to a cracked chassis............or just put it this way..... You can find anything in a Dart!
