There aren't many great places in North Shields, but Northumberland Square is nice. I'd recommend going to Tynemouth if you have time, as there are some lovely coast shots there, and you've got regular services on the 1, 306 and 333 going there. Whitley Bay is also decent too.

Will try and squeeze Tynemouth in if I have time. Did Tynemouth back in October? for the Coastliner 306 StreetLite launch, hopefully it will be warmer than it was that day
