From the way the article reads, they'll be cutting their evening services and no longer continuing to Alnmouth Station. He's also got rid of the two unreliable darts and replaced them with another bus, which I think is a sensible move from a cost point of view. 

I think it would also be wise to cut back to only 6 days a week giving one day a week to maintain the bus too and perhaps rationalise the services which extend from Rothbury to go around the villages and hopefully pick up a few more passengers and tourists from being more regular rather than jut 2/3 days a week.
